Just called Ford Marketing and they say I'm still in production with an estimated delivery date to dealer (Granger) on 1/31.

Blend date 1/12
Projected build date 1/14

I saw a post on the FB group of a guy with the Jan 10 build week was told there is a chip shortage again and his has been delayed till early February. Any one else have any info on this?

Mine was also build for the 10th with a blend of the 13th. I called ford customer relations today and they said it’s still in production. But nothing about a chip shortage..

Haven’t heard anything about that. I’d think it Shouldn’t effect trucks where all parts have already been obtained for blend date. I had a 1/13 blend date and Ford told me to expect delivery by 2/1.

Yeah that’s what i would hope as well. What trim level is your build? I’m a 402a w/moonroof and unleashed audio

I checked with Ford and they gave me an ETA of Feb 8. I had a blend date of the 12th. Could he have misread when he is expecting his truck at the dealership?

“Welp it would seem the microchip shortage strikes again…….I’m so fed up since I ordered this truck 17th of July ‘21. Apparently was built Jan 11th and now sitting for a chip till Feb 8th….”

Then he mentions in the comments that he called ford and they specifically told him…

“I specifically asked what was missing and they said microchip…..no queuing up to be a good situation from what my dealer just told me. Possibility of major delays and wait times again”

So that was my reasoning to ask you guys on here to see if any of you heard the same with the same “build week”

I may be way off base, but this seems odd to me. Especially considering how many members of this forum have ordered more recently than this person, and have since received their tremors. I could be very wrong though.

Hi,
I just reached out to my dealer, they did a search on a Lariat that they have coming in that was built the same day as my Tremor and it's showing as on Hold for Microchip. They then looked at my Tremor and it's not on hold, Both trucks have been produced at Dearborn.
So maybe the microchips are a Lariat Problem? Hopefully not a Tremor issue, it's still showing my truck as produced with an end date of the 26th.

As of today, it is built but waiting on microchip. They told me they estimate microchip will be available and installed between Jan 25-31 and then get processed for shipping. Looking like mid feb at the earliest for me.

Lol I try to not read your posts about the long shipping time. I think @DAL220A has the right idea. Positive vibes only though I can’t help but feel a little better knowing everyone else here is going through the same painful waiting time. <- except for @Mama Tried of course

Update for mine, Ford website finally poster it and show not in production but should have been 1/10 but still show eta to dealer 2/2
i could only hope the website is not updating
also window sticker shows new print date at the bottom but blend date show 1/10
