CHIP HOLD - DELAY!

Hey everyone - I thought I would update this group. My scheduled build date was 1/21. Tracker shows it has been in production since 1/20. I reached out to my dealer and let me know that it is on HOLD for a chip, which is expected on 2/20. BUMMER!

What is "Blend Date"? What's the difference between "In Production" and "Build Date"?

From what I know, vehicles start product just before the blend date. The blend date is the date the body meets the chassis. It then moves to final production and is build. Blend date can be found on your window sticker.

Have your BCE Modules populated? Just trying to figure out if mine might have a hold. I talked to them last week and no hold currently on my 402A with expected to leave production 2/9 and estimated deliver shows 2/28.

Yes. The tracker showed in production on 1/20. My blend date was supposed to be 1/21. The BCE module date populated on 1/23, but still showing nothing for the PCM module, so the chip they are waiting for must have something to do with that Powertrain Control Module. BTW, the estimated delivery date on the tracker for mine shows 2/20. However, my dealer (who evidently can access some tracker different that what you and I can look at) confirmed it is on hold for the chip and that the chip is expected on 2/20. FYI, I read today that the Mustang production line was shut down last week because they have no chips. That's why I reached out to my dealer today. I figured it was the same thing for the 150 line. Who knows, but it sure is hard being patient!

How do you see the BCE and PCM module information?

My blend date was 1/15 still showing in production delivery date is supposed to be 2/2.
Reply from my dealer - "your truck is showing produced but had a delay for microchip. Has an ETA of Jan 27 to Feb 2nd. With the delay likely the later side of that."

🤞🤞

Appreciate the info. It sure is hard to wait but I know our trucks will get here eventually just hoping it is sooner rather than later.

Do you have a bunch of BCE modules showing? If so, I understand that means the truck is built.
Pages and pages of this stuff.
