The ones that talk about getting their trucks within 2 or 3 months from order date are a new level of torture for me

I'll look, but I swear a guy say he ordered his like 3 days ago and got a VIN yesterday. I don't understand any of this.

For those of you not on the F150Gen14 forums, there is a guy that is keeping track of a bunch of Jan 10 week builds.

47 total trucks being tracked.

16 have been delivered
6 have been built and shipped but not delivered
3 have been built and not shipped
22 have not been received built status

BTW: Just talked to Ford on the chat and they told me my chip issue will be resolved by May 1st. It used to be that it would be at the dealer by May 1st.

I was told the same. At dealers by end of April or first week in May. My Ford dealer tried to help me out the other day, but just caused me more pain.

I am still parked in a lot somewhere in DB and zero updates other than ETA may 3 at the latest….

I hammered ford corporate for their communication, wonky tracker that changes terms and info without any explanation on my survey. Don’t know if they will care but I did.

4x Months after ordering & 3x Months of Chip Hold I just Picked up my Tremor!

Had it for less than an hour, and I drove it straight to the shop to get it "Finished". I'm getting it Leveled and adding wheel spacers, Black Lug Nuts & plate lights.

Hoping to pick it up at the end of the day and then ill take some pics & post them!

Why is this thread still going!???

I have tried the last two things I can think of to get something moving... but really had no luck.

1st, I filed a complaint with the BBB where the Dearborn plant is located. I actually was excited when I got a response within about 12 hours from Ford. But after going back and forth 3 times now, they aren't going anywhere. The "representative" that I have been exchanging emails with just says the same thing... global chip shortage. It's a form letter and they aren't willing to research anything further. All I was hoping for was a "your truck will be done on this date." But no luck.

2nd thing I tried was reaching out to a Ford executive through LinkedIn messaging. I actually was able to get someone to connect with me on LinkedIn and then sent them a message explaining the frustration we are all feeling seeing trucks ordered after us get delivered. I was surprised this morning when I got a response saying that he would look into it. But here is his response.

"Ok, The truck was built January 18th. It is still being held for some chips to be installed in early May. I am sorry this is happening to you. it does suck. if I here anything else I will let you know. This shortage has really crippled the industry! Fly Safe Brother!"

So I'm back to report nothing really. No progress... no hope other than the waiting game we have been playing for over 3 months now.

I'm in the search for a used truck to get me by for the next month or two or three...

I don't understand how they are justifying newly built trucks rolling off the line and being delivered while built trucks sit.

That's not a chip shortage. That's a - you're putting the chips my vehicle needs into a new truck just being put together.

Unless they can validate that every truck with 'x' feature is not being built /delivered.. it's absolute bs
