Jan 10th Build Week Thread

I just checked with chat and got a little more information.

"Thank you for your patience, Scott. First, congratulations on your new 2022 F-150! Your order currently shows In Production-Produced-Ford Dearborn Assembly, MI-Status Update ETA May-09-2022."

I have not been told the part about "Produced" before so I dug a little deeper and asked for clarification and they told me "According to my resources, it has been produced, no shipping details available at this time."

Nothing has changed in tracker but hopefully It is going to ship soon considering I am at 98 days "In Production" lol

From my experience and reading others, the ETA is likely the ship date.

Bored and disgruntled on a Sunday. Shopping around for a different truck. Maybe even a different brand. I have found several Tremors, Raptors and Platinum's showing built coming to dealerships near me. This Particular Tremor does not have the bed liner, Torsen front diff or the 2K Pro Power. Other than that it's the same build as mine. Again, Ordered confirmation 10/23/2021 and a blend date of 01/27/2022. Been in productions since 01/27/2022.

I feel your pain. This is the first and possibly the last experience I have with Ford. If my truck shows up and has no issues or just normal recall stuff I will probably stick with it and just blame this all on the times we are in. If it shows up with a bunch of issues due to sitting in a parking lot for 3 months I will probably be done with ford and just get a 21 Tundra and call it a day. This has been super annoying to have our orders placed last year and all these guys getting trucks who placed their order like 2 months ago.

If it shows up with a bunch of issues due to sitting in a parking lot for 3 months I will probably be done with ford and just get a 21 Tundra and call it a day. Yes the sitting in a parking lot for 3 months worries me. Anyone know what Ford does to monitor the ones sitting or are they just left sitting unmonitored?

Tremor did arrive at Granger last week along with 50+ other vehicles. Got with Chip and scheduled to pick mine up on May 6 (best date for me to pick it up). RuffTuff seat covers due later this week and tonneau cover ordered and should here when I get home. Then it’s 2 days rest and on up to Idaho for a bear hunt. Hey, talk about a Tremor of the month picture with a big black bear photobombing the Tremor!

This. This right here is one of the three things that really pisses me off about this whole situation. Why are some of us still waiting for even a VIN, when dealers are getting stock trucks nearly identical to all the special orders? Yes, I understand dealers still have to stock lots, as that's still where a majority of their sales come from, but when I'm offering up good money (and lots of it) for a fully loaded truck, that should, IMHO, take priority over dealer stock. Especially if similarly equipped. And it just adds to the maddening lack of transparency and utter absence of any rhyme or reason to the whole production planning process at Ford. I've long been a Ford fan, but they are NOT handling this situation well. I get supply chain issues, but FFS, there are much better ways to treat your loyal customers.

My dealer had 2 Tremors on Order from October. They both went into production in February. One is still in production purgatory, the other was built on 3/15 and just shipped today, along with my order. I think the VIN scheduling aside, it's a "first in, last out" situation. In my case, I was "last in, first out" because I didn't expect to see it until June at the earliest.

I don’t have the activate button on my app yet… but it does show the right truck now. Makes me laugh that I would even notice such a small thing or be excited about it… too long of a waiting game!

Us Guys north of the boarder have no access to tracker other than order tracker . When we did have access it did show a f150 but did show a lightning for a few weeks. showed produced/ in production from original blend date of Jan 10…..chip hold showed very soon after and got bumped to A27-May3 near end of Jan …..never seen built

LoL the tracker stopped working for me this morning.

Ford Canada tracker was working for a few weeks for me and always showed the dealership info.

Today is the start of the "ETA Window" that marketing and Granger has been giving me. I would hope that this week the truck will move to Built status.

In other news, the Bronco I ordered a month before this Truck went into Production status today with a 5/2 blend date. It will really be wild if we get the Bronco first.
