It's not just Ford. If you ordered one of the new 1500 Silverados when they first announced and released for order, you'd have waited over a year by now. It's happening across the board.

Not excusing it, just saying it's a market/manufacturer problem in general, not exclusive to Ford.

I hear ya... I know this is not unique to us... but it just seems that it is a horrid way to treat customers.

I am coming from Toyota and really am excited for this truck and to try Ford. I have test driven the Tremor and looked at them closely... read and watched almost everything that I can get in front of me. But for me, it's hard to not loose some of that excitement as I watch others taking delivery of trucks with those chips installed that were ordered afterward. No fault of theirs, but that's what seems to be going down. Maybe I'm taking it too personal? But it does piss me off some days more than others.

Agreed it's not just Ford. I'm curious as to whether or not Ford is doing better or worse in the customer service department with these delays. I can't imagine it being MUCH worse.

Just called ford, "delivery ETA 8/4/22, subject to change" holy moly. Ordered 1/17, original delivery was supposed to be 4/17. What I expected to drive for most of 2022, will likely be closer to a 23 model.

If it makes you feel better, you ordered after some of us had trucks "Produced" and some of these produced trucks are getting pushed to August as well.

(I had always looked forward to the date when this thread was dead... we all had our trucks... but now? looks like we just added 3+ more months to the total.)

@ChsTremor have you heard anything on a revised date for your F150?

Just talked with Ford Customer Disappointment Center. They said my truck has an ETA of August 4,2022. Due to secondary chip hold. The PowerBoost that is supposed to be in route to the dealership had a ETA of July 30,2022. They do have one Platinum regular Ecoboost on the lot right now with a $10K mark up. It's looking better and better. I am sure it will be gone by the weekend. Are we to the point of waiting for the 2023 order banks to open? We will be driving brand new one year old trucks.

This is total bullshit from ford
Just got an update for my dealer
now my new delivery for the truck is july-august still not guaranteed though
Order date was October 2021
Been on chip hold since 1/13
Original delivery date was end of Feb
Then to April
Then to May
I will be going to dealership next week to get my deposit back.i dont want to get a supposedly new truck thats been sitting in a yard for over 8 month and also get a MY22 when it will almost be 2023 when and if i would get my truck.F*** ford with there stupid scheduling.how about complete the existing trucks not deliver 3 trucks to my dealer similar to mine that was ordered and built after my order date.that is just me from what i can see i am sure there are countless other ppl also getting screwed .i can understand the chip shortage but its not like they aren't building any new ones.

This is my line of thinking… if the 2023 order banks open up and I don’t have a truck yet? I’ll put in for one right away actually.

But for now? I can cancel… but what will I do? I already bought a used POS truck to get me through the summer for towing. If I cancel it doesn’t help me. So I’m just going to make that decision when it presents itself.

I’m a way I’ve resigned to not care right now. I just need to live my life without planning on anything from Ford.

Everyone’s situation is different. I was more pissed when I had no truck in hand. But now that I’ve over paid for a used truck I don’t want? At least I don’t feel pressure because of un-met expectations.

the order tracker updated with awaiting shipping. My dealer guy ran the vvr and yes it says awaiting shipping eta is June 12 -28 so I want to be excited but seen this before and in disbelief kinda

I just found one available pretty close to me. It has a $10K mark up. It's a 402A and missing the 2K Pro Power and locking seats storage, other than being blue instead of black its good enough. If its still on the lot tomorrow I will go see what they will do for me.

Which dealer did you order from in Calgary?

As I was driving to work this morning I saw a Ford pull up with the orange trim in the grill and immediately recognized it as a Tremor. First one I've seen in Calgary and it looked good.

You need a truck that bad?

Not bad enough to pay $10K. But since I have been looking for something else and have been doing a lot of window shopping. Many of these places are advertising a mark up online and drop it when you talk serious about buying. I would love to have the 2K Pro Power but its not a deal breaker for me. I have also been regretting ordering black. This blue I don’t see very much of so it would be different. Lead Foot would be my choice if I could get it. If this truck is even there, it is built and not going to sit in a field for another 3 month or more. It does not have any missing features like Active Park Assist. Who knows by the time mine gets shipped out what other tech will be missing. Interest rates are climbing, used car values are dropping and summer is here. Even if I pay a few grand mark up I might jump on it. Tired of waiting and I have looked at so many other trucks and the Tremor is the one I want. If they wont budge I will keep waiting and looking for another one to pop up.
