KO3 vs Grabbers

Got to say, getting the 295/70R18's installed with everything stock.....that size just looks really good on the truck. I have zero rubbing and the KO3's feel balanced as of right now as I have not been on the highway with them yet.
Very Nice! Fills in the Wheel wells without being too large.

Yeah you be VERY close with them. Like some days you might for some days not depending on the temperature lol.
Air down to park it every day would get old!!

Have a look at the new Pirelli Scorpion XTM as well. They offer a SL version that is aimed at OEM Rivian Truck. It's got a label for "ev" use which seems to mean just the compound has less rolling resistance, which should benefit all vehicles mpg
That’s an interesting looking tire.
Have you been able to find a price on them because I’ve looked at several suggested retailers from the Pirelli website and none of them even have anything on their website about the XTM.

Had the Bridgestone installed yesterday LT 295/70 R18. I have a 1.5 inch level and they have tones of room. Only a few kms so far but did take it up to highway speed and its super smooth and quiet. No not an aggressive AT tire but reality came into play and since most of the time my truck lives on pavement there was no reason to go more aggressive. I was looking for snow and rain traction, quiet ride, bigger size with no rubbing, and light weight (for an E rated) CHECK!!!!

Looks perfect. How is the tire width?

Just under 12"

Might have to see if your preferred shop can special order. The size is advertised but it's possibly not in production yet.

I have 315/70R17 KO3's Load F. I was concerned that they would be stiff but I still went for it since I tow a Travel Trailer of 6k lbs. I can tell you that they balanced right off the bat and they are soft. I had KO2's C Rated before that I sold and I can't tell the difference in stiffness. However when I tow its a world of difference. 100% better. I just have around 1k miles on them so I can't say about wear or snow yet but they are highly rated. Based on my research its a true improvement to the KO2.
Maybe mine feel great on paved roads because of the 17' wheel which makes a big sidewall. In comparison to the stock oem 18 in

I purchased my Tremor used and it came with a brand new set of the KO3s stock size, stock wheel. I can't comment on the Grabbers but what I can say is coming from a King Ranch with some cheaper Rocky Mountain ATs at 32-36 PSI is WAY smoother than the recommended 50 psi of the KO3s. It has taken me quite a while to get use to the stiffer ride. I have heard others run the E rated tires at lower pressures to help, but you run the risk of sidewall damage or even blow out at sustained high mph due to heat buildup. They run fairly quiet but you can feel some of the tread vibration in the steering wheel when slowing down.. no issues as far as balancing my set. I don't believe I will continue with E rated tires after this set.

My daily driver is a 4.5 inch lifted Jeep Sahara Unlimited which had 37 inch Cooper STT Pro mud tires so anything other than a MT will feel significantly better. I recently changed to the Cooper Rugged Trek which is a hybrid MT / AT Tire. Seriously quiet, smooth, awesome traction and still agressive looking. It competes with the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss but is lighter, less sidewall stiffness and quieter.. I would even consider putting a set on my Tremor when the KO3s wimp out.. My Tremor won't see jagged rocks so sidewall protection is not my main concern.

What I can say about the KO3s up to this point (I have not had a winter with them) is they feel planted, good traction on dirt washed out roads, but might feel heavy and stiff due to the added weight and higher required psi compared to your stock grabbers.. And you may even see a dip in mpg. My truck showed an average of 15.4 when I bought it but over the first 3,000 milies and changing to 93 octane, I have been getting 18.5 mixed and 20-21 highway. I suspect it would be even better with the grabbers. ( 93 octane has been a huge difference)... My fatherinlaw has a highcountry and has 20 inch Goodyears on it making it feel like a car. At least the KO3s let me know I am in a truck..
I love my KO3’s,…they don’t seem loud at all to me,…course I’m half def anyway,…Seems if we wanted a luxurious ride we wouldn’t have got Tremors right?

Ha! The Tremor is Soooo much nicer than my old 03' King Ranch! I didn't mean to come across as complainimg. The KO3s are outstanding but it was an adjustment going to an E rated and higher pressure tire. One thing i have learned from this forum is upgradimg the suspension will help settle down the rear end on unimproved or rutted out roads. Traintrack crossings and potholes tend to make my rearend a bit jumpy. I thought it was just a tire issue amd never considered it could be a combination of tire and or suspension problem. When I can convince my wife into spending a little extra money, I may look into those Billstein 6112/5160 everyone raves about. I need to do something about the rake.

My K03s are quiet. The stock Grabbers blew a belt and lost air on the highway towing my SxS at 16k miles. I wanted the new Wildpeaks but needed tires at that moment so I got the K03s. I've only had them for 2 months and 11k miles but they've been doing ok. So far only one flat from a sidewall puncture but that was my fault. A hammer was in the road and I missed it with the front tire but caught it with the back.

Fwiw, I lost about .75-1mpg with the extra weight and added friction.
