Level and mpg?

The s
I did 75 miles today, some congestion, some bumper to bumper, some off highway, some highway with blue cruise, some highway without blue cruise (me actually driving, I know it's crazy, seems weird now driving on the expressway myself like a peasant)... Eco and normal mode combination, not particularly being careful with the accelerator, but not particularly driving hard either.

Finished off at 15.3mpg over the 75 miles - with the as2.5 and 295/70/18 ATs, 93 octane.

I'm between the roush and the AFE intake, but I've read a cold air increases the MPG
The S&B is the better CAI, you won't see much gain from any of them without using a tune though.

I simply went within an Airaid dry drop in for that reason and currently sitting at 17.5 mpg combined mileage with some towing thrown in.

I haven't. The device is $500.

I know there's a way on forscan, but I read that it doesn't work on 21+, so not sure.
Do you know how many mph off you are? I would guess about 1.5-2.

I would say that's close yeah.

But what about the whoosh noises you're missing out on???

I still hear it, of course that's not really the goal, the goal for me was less money in the long run and maybe a little more air to the engine.

Well I’m about to break 1000 miles and I’m around 12-13. AS 2” level and stock wheels/tires. I also live in a small stop sign ridden town but man it’s brutal. I figure I was getting the same in my old Tacoma, I just didn’t have the digital meter in front of my face. Haha

I have a 2" level and about 1300 miles on my 402a with stock rims and tires. First few hundred miles were terrible at about 14 mpg. Now getting about 18.5 mpg mix between highway and city. towing the boat i get 10.5-11 mpg. All in all, about what I expected and I love this truck.

Driving down hill both ways with a 50 MPH tail wind?
@Idaho.Tremor you can see we are going to need a fully verified video test. Get it notarized while you're at it. The internet never believes.

I sure hope mine can get this. FWIW my last 3.5 with 34.5s averaged about 16 so not far off from what you are seeing.

Again, i can get 16+ with no traffic, cruise control, on the highway.

But to say heavy footed, leveled, with 34+ in regular conditions (not open highway with cruise control), getting 19.6 that's just not believable based on what I'm seeing in my truck, @7k miles. I was barely getting to 20 at stock in perfect and super favorable driving conditions.

If I drive heavy footed like normal not giving a care about mpg, I'll be around 14-14.5 with the current set up.

Well see how it looks if the speedometer calibration through forscan is successful this weekend, and installing the roush CAI.

Stock right now I am at 17.6, which is verified by hand.

I am getting 18 - 19 normal driving in Houston 2500 miles on my stock truck

I guess I should mention that I did get 22 on a highway trip a couple weeks ago. But this truck HATES stop signs. I’m 99s on all my eco coach categories but getting high 12s in town.

This actually might be fun to prove. I use ethanol free 91 from my local Spirit station. I’m leveled on 285/75/18 Maxxis razor MT. I think I’m heavy footed with her. I have a “custom”exhaust, s&B intake, pedal commander and a rolling bed cover. I have my Cobra for when I wanna go fast. Lots of highway driving here in Idaho. I’ll see if I can put something together.

I appreciate your humor. Seems like an odd thing to lie about being a grown man… but the internet is what it is.

Man thats even more not believable... The pedal commander easily takes away 1-2mpg depending on the mode you're in. Youre also on MT tires instead of AT, which are even worse for mpg.
