Rear Shock - But I can't pick out a part number from this pic.
Is it possible that's not a Tremor strut?![]()
T407H FoMoCo - Part number off a picture on the FB forum if it helps anyone. A quick google search shows it's been used on everything from Mustangs to F150s, so thinking it's more of a label for a parts assembly.
5310 is the confirmed part number on my spring. However, I wonder if 5310 is a general number for any spring and the letters before it are for the type of spring (e.g. Tremor Spring vs. F150 XLT Spring)? Is it possible that's not a Tremor strut?
That part number correlates to a standard F150 strut that I can tell. It is possible that the spring is different and the shock stayed the same
That’s likely — ML3M is on all parts I have seen to include the leaf springs:Yeah, 5310 means spring at Ford. The FA would generally designate an f250 spring from what I can tell. Ford is good at reusing parts but I'm guessing that m3lm is specific to tremor 150s
No, it's from a Tremor on a lot. That's what I'm thinking, is that they just changed the spring. Is it possible that's not a Tremor strut?

Completely agree with your plan.I still have yet to see anything stating there is a 1" suspension lift for the Tremor. What I do see is 1" more front travel and a 1/2" more clearance due to the tire selection.
So with the knuckle and control arms already being addressed, the only thing we're talking about is literally length of suspension.
With how I use my trucks, a spacer is less than ideal but Ford does seem to have addressed (2 of the 3) pain points when it comes to a level lift. I have no experience with Ford's axles but on my Rams, a replacement set was important for reliability.
so this is my general guess as to what the industry will come out with:
1.6" spacer kit - full droop will put extra wear on the components
replacement spring - more viable lift, probably better ride, same travel, lesser potential to cause extra wear on components
something really similar (if not the same) to the current strut/shock replacements available, today. - better ride/traction/travel, likely similar or slightly less wear than a replacement spring.
For me, the factory "fox tuned by Ford" upgrade will probably be the direction i go. It gives me additional use and looks and is fully warrantied by Ford. If Deavers will make a replacement leaf set where I can remove the rear blocks and have a better ride/less rake/same travel, I'll be all over that.
This is what has been used by a TX Tremor owner. it still had some rake but looks much better.Has anyone installed a 2” leveling kit yet?
I am trying to figure out which parts to order to be able to get rid of the crazy rake on day 1.
Under this plan, what would the clearance difference be compared to a stock Gen 3 Raptor on 35s?Completely agree with your plan.
If you look at the specs, the Tremor is only .5" lower than the Raptor, which comes down to tire size. If you raised the Tremor front by 2.5" to fit 35's (34.4)" on it, you'd have the exact same factory stance and rake as the Raptor (also on 34.4"), both of which would then be 2" over a standard FX4. If we assume the FX4 has 32's, that accounts for 1". The other 1" is in the suspension.
Not sure. I just know the cab height will be identical to the Raptor if you leveled the Tremor and put 35"s, assuming the specs page is correct. I'm not sure what component hangs lowest under the trucks and what the difference might be.Under this plan, what would the clearance difference be compared to a stock Gen 3 Raptor on 35s?
Ground Clearance on the Ford website shows that the Raptor on 35’s has 12” and the Tremor on 33”s has ~9.4” — correct me if this is wrong. What is different on the Raptor to achieve the 1.6” difference when you take out the tires?
