Leveling Kit

My dealer installed a 2" leveling kit before I took it home. It was an aftermarket kit but not sure which brand. It was a spacer. The rake is much better. They also changed my tires and I went with a 295/70. It looks awesome! No issues thus far but only about 300 miles on it. Anyone interested in my factory tires????
@Wyothing

Hey I would also like to see a picture of the tires, and front coilover — can you also look to see if they removed the front crash bar? Also, what type of tire did they put on — Nitto Ridge Grappler? Check and see if they gave you the same full size wheel and spare too.

Here are the pics. Again, it is 2" on the front and the 34" tires.

Man, that still looks stock to me. I don’t get why Ford forced so much rake on us.
Have you seen one with a trailer attached? It sits almost perfectly level. I think they gave us so much rake for MPG and because the rear leaf springs are shit with a load. The Raptor is the same way.

@Wyothing : Any chance you can give us some pics of the wheels at full lock to see how close the 34s get with the 2" spacer?

@RotorHead695 : Swapping out the springs with Deavers, have you seen that the squat under load is reduced dramatically? If you do the swap and leave the rear shocks does the ride get rougher?

Yes, if you get the correct springs it can reduce the squat under load. For the Raptor they made SD and HDs. You want the HDs if you have an increased payload day to day (like canopy and gear). You'll be getting rid of the blocks and adding more leafs for a more progressive feel. Reports from all of the Raptor guys was increased ride comfort and increased stability both on and off-road.

Interesting. Heavy Duty Springs lift the truck without the block and then allow increased travel also. Seems too simple right?! I'll definitely be doing this. Running a tonneau cover, Billie Bars, RTT, whatever gear in back and then 3500# trailer with 300# tongue weight.

Have you ever ran this set up and then put in air bags for further height adjustment?

I have never used air bags. I think the sag will be acceptable up until the point I need a weight distribution hitch anyway.

I bought the springs for my Raptor to correct the sag from my payload weight, but never installed them. The damn Tremor was released and changed all of my plans, so I sold them. It is a well tested setup though, as many of the guys were running it. I was going to couple it with Eibach front springs. Using a vendor that specializes in Raptor parts, we had figured that with the front lift and my load, I would have sat almost level with just a hint of rake. The Eibachs raise the front by 2.75" and I was going to install the +3 HD Deavers which raised another inch from factory. I'll likely reach out to Chad Lindley from Apollo Optics once Tremor specific options are available.

So my plan now is to replace the rear springs and either match with front coilovers that can be adjusted to give me 1-1.5" of rake with my everyday payload. Ideally the OEM front shocks will be compatible with a spring replacement, but I doubt it as the 2020 F150 ones are not. So I will be looking at Fox 2.5s as they can be adjusted higher than 2".

There still is a bit of rake but it is definately better. I didn't want to get too deep into mods. That pic is on a slight slope but for some reason it seems to look better in person.

The 34s are just a little more aggressive tread and a touch wider. And yes I added the light in the side vent.

Can you do a mod post on the lights — Was it the F150 LED Mod? I have been considering it myself — in fact I have the kit in the garage and just haven’t installed. I am hesitant about using the connectors — how did you do the wiring?

Also, are the front tire crash bars still in place or where they cut out? Lastly, is the speedometer accurate — did the dealership adjust the settings?

So the dealer did not cut out the crash bars. They did adjust the speedometer which seems to match GPS for what its worth. Funny thing is my last f150 was leveled and the same size tires were put on it. But I couldn't get the dealer to adjust the speedometer. It was a different dealer and I made the mods.
Yes I installed the F150 leds but the company ticked me off. They will not respond to email or text so I won't do business with them again. Anyway, the connectors are crap and access to the wires is a pain so I just used one upfitter switch. The only downside is the lights don't go on unless the truck is started. In reality, any light in amber will do the same thing. There is nothing special about these and there are much cheaper LED's out there.
Ford really skimped on the upfitter wiring. There is almost no slack so making the connection was not as simple as it should have been. 2" more wire would have been awesome.

I’ve had unpleasant experience with that company as well. I like those vent lights, but if I do something it won’t be coming from them.

You may find this helpful if you want it tied to the parking lights without splicing into the factory wiring:

I am also trying to figure out which fuse is for the parking lights to use a micro 2 add circuit:

I added a pro comp 2.5" level to mine last week, see attached photo. Everything as far as sensors, ride, etc. seem to be the same as factory. So far so good! I want to add some 34" tires similiar to what another member posted on his silver tremor. Still doing some research on exact size i want to go with as i'd like to keep the factory wheels. I think they look nice for once!

Well, with my change in course on keeping my Raptor, I ordered springs (again), so I'll be able to give a firsthand review from the Raptor's point of view once they arrive and get installed. I supposed I should do measurements before the install.
