Leveling Kit

Anyone have pics of the AS 1.5 installed? Going back and forth btw 1.5 and 2

this is what made me think of th 1.5" spacer lift....I'm thinking that any replacement coil over kit will be the same as this (whatever it advertises take off 1.25" given that the tremor is already that much higher than the regular f150 in the front)......this at least tells me that we can go up to 1.25" over stock without an issue (spacer or coil over replacement)
What did you end up doing? I have a AS 2.0" spacers waiting in the garage for when my truck gets here but am concerned about CV angles....

Front lift height also depends on your personal comfort with CV angles - the higher the lift, the steeper the CV angles. Some suggest - and I tend to believe - that the steeper the CV angle the more likely you are to experience accelerated or premature wear of the boot, the joint, or both.
No I don't know what is too much. No I don't know what is the 'sweet spot' or just right. I'm in the 2-inch fan boy crowd based on my personal preferences.
So with my past Toyotas, you always want to keep it under 3" of lift. And I always set mine up for 2.5" for the reasons you listed above. With the 1" higher stock front end, I ordered the AS 2.0 kit, but now I'm wondering if I want to return it and get the 1.5"? I don't want to chew through boots and joints....

I know nothing about all this but I switched mine to the 1.5 from the 2 -just a wuss I guess but I think it’ll look just as good as the 2…I think

I did a 2 1/2 RC lift with 295 70 18 Coopers. I love it!
How about a review of the ride and how they do as well as the pic of the cv angles?

I've got the 2.5" Auto Spring Tremor level installed.

For everyday driving I don't think it's bad, but at full droop it looks pretty gnarly. Also noticed that my UCA touches the spring when it's at full droop.

So I've been running the vertex adjustable rear shocks for the last 1600 miles and I've been very happy compared to the squishy stock rears. I was hoping to eventually swap out the fronts with matching vertex adjustable fronts as well.

My hope is to also keep some rake. I've seen that many 2" lift coilovers such as fox 2.0s will not change the factory ride stance of Tremors. I was wondering if this means these 3" lift Vertex coilovers will only balance out the rake slightly? (I know I'm weird, but I like the rake)

Also I was hoping for someone more knowledgeable than I (prob everyone here) to comment on whether I'll need to change out my UCAs if I make this swap? The video on pinned at the top was very fascinating but I wanted to double check.

So everyone here knows about this option. They are offering us a group buy for the month of august.

Installed the AS 2.0 spacers. Netted about 2.3”. I love the look but im unsure about the CV angles…. I know alot of you guys are running the 2.5” kit, any issues? I don’t want to wear prematurely. Alignment tomorrow morning.

After your alignment and driving for a few days did it settle a bit?

MAYBE a 1/16". I'm getting 285/75R18s put on tomorrow morning. If I think I can still clear them with less lift, I may swap to the 1.5" spacer. I hate to do the work again but it's easier than replacing axle boots. Plus I have lifetime alightments

What tire are you going with in the 285/75/r18 @ do you know the actual diameter?

I’m looking at the ridge grappler in that same size & if the online specs are accurate it’s actually 35.08”

I’m embarrassed to say how much time I have put thinking on 0.2” of difference! LOL

Currently have the AS 2.5” spacer ordered but still have probably a month or more before truck is at Granger (8/22 build week scheduled)

I'm pretty dedicated to Toyo AT 3s, as this point. I feel it's the best AT on the market. They are 34.8" O.D.

10-4; curious to see what clearance you have with the 2.3” spacer and if that would be enough to squeeze in the extra height of the ridge grappler

Thanks for posting your journey & results

should clear easy. I got more lift than I wanted. May swap it out for the 1.5
