Leveling Kit

Ok, thanks. They said the tremor specific and the regular one are actually the same. Do you happen to have the part number of what you got to double check?
I actually originally ordered the 2” kit, then saw others results (getting more than 2” of level) and called and had them change order to 1.5”. I never got a new invoice or anything from them so don’t have part number.

thanks to all on this 59 page thread. Ready Lift 2" lift going on end of month. Local shop here in Southwest Ohio prefers their stuff and takes 10% off when ordered through the shop. My wife does not appreciate this forum like I do.....

Mine doesn't either that's why if certain people on here @Yeti and @Cranbery in particular ever want to meet up for a trail ride, I'll leave her at home, I wouldn't doubt if she put a bounty on their heads, she probably figures it would be cheaper.

I was wondering how/why that tree that damn near fell on me Monday as I was walking the back yard

Does anyone have real world data on how the standard spacer levels like the Auto Springs, ReadyLift, Pro Comp, etc... affect off road performance yet? Trying to figure out if those will do for now or if I should just buy Eibach's, RC, or some other full replacement. After reading all 59 pages I'm still torn on what to do.

Opinions vary, I will say this if you intend to push it offroad then go with a coilover lift, they will allow more travel and give you better performance. If your looking at mainly fire roads with a little rough stuff here and there you can get by with a spacer kit. Myself I would go with a coilover any day versus the spacers.

I’ll end up with a coilover at some point, might buy a spacer just to get rid of some of the rake in the mean time and hit some light off roading with it. I just read through the entire rear shock thread to find something for that and that’s even more difficult to pin down. Most seem to have a good compressed length to fit but I don’t want to lose downward travel but having a shock with less than stock extended length. And I really don’t want to Frankenstein the front and rear but I might just have to

Most of the shocks will work on the rear, the longer the extended length as long as compressed length is good the better, as in the closer to 31" extended. But the vast majority will work unless you plan on some extreme offroading. The average 95% will never articulate or extend their rear shock to the max except once or twice.

Has anyone figured out what leveling kits work on the tremor? Will standard F-150 parts fit? Removing some of that rake will be my goal as soon as possible when I take delivery of my truck. I am looking to go the easy route with a 1.5” or 2” spacer kit on the struts. I don’t want to remove the rake completely, but from the pictures the way Ford is sending this out from the factory makes it look like they forgot to install the 1” lift parts on the Tremor with 3-4” of rake.

If you know what fits please let me know!
Thanks
I went with the Pro Comp 2.5 leveling kit (62206) - I work in sand dunes everyday and haven't had any issues. Rides the same, feels the same. However, the kit is only approved for up to 2020 F150.

So if I’m understanding correctly, I want to be as close to stock compressed length as I can get, right under 18” I believe is what it was, and anything at 30.5” and over is equivalent or better than stock travel yes?

Yes, the majority of the shocks for the F150 are around 29.50" which as stated will work for the vast majority. It all depends on how you plan to use it really. I think the compressed length is around 17.83"

Spacers are good for a majority of owners, if you really push it offroad though they can cause some problems. Please don't take this wrong but playing in dunes, while fun is a far cry from what I'm talking about, even most of Moab is a fry cry from what I'm talking about. I'm on the east coast where it can get really crazy and the trails change constantly. One day the trail could be easy, go back a week later and it could be super difficult.

Most will never do to their trucks what some of us put them through and I realize that, so for many spacers are great and a cheaper alternative available.

Somewhat triggered they did that after since I already installed these. I'd have bought the mono tube option.
I have until Monday to make a change....this mono tube option or the spacer. Seems no brainier to go full coil with these
