Leveling Kit

Any of the 2.0 coilovers meaning fox, halo to name a few are all gonna ride a bit stiffer then stock but everything else with be better, cornering, rebound, better braking and better feel for the road.
Thank you, excellent info. I’m looking for the leveling option (1.5-2”) that retains the softness of the stock ride (or close to it) and is also the least problematic in regard to clearances, CV angle, etc. Cost is less of a concern than the above.

That being said, any advice on what setup I should look at with those priorities in mind?

I am sure this has been asked, but I plan to run 295/70-18 Toyo AT with some after market wheel. What offset due I need to stay at. Still deciding on a strut level. Looking at Halo, Fox, Bilstein. Not planning to change UCAs and not planning on going above 2"

To keep your stock ride and if your mostly driving on road I would probably just do a leveling spacer but if your looking for a bit more off-road worthiness I would go with the halolifts mountain pkg. The coilovers come preset at 2.5-3 of lift but are adjustable from 1-3 the guys at halolifts will adjust them for you if you want or you can do it. I have them on my rig and it rides really nice, I felt more of a negative affect on the ride when I went from the SL rated tires to the E’s.

I would stick with a +18 or +20 to keep it at the edge of the fenders and from rubbing.

I'm not a fan of spacers lifts. Not putting a puck on a $70k truck. Thanks for the info. I have afeeling the toys will ride better then the Generals, based on past experiences. Has anyone seen a better ride with 17s vs 18s?

Awesome thank you again. Will have to look into them. They are local to me, anyone know if they install as well?

Are the new UCAs that come with the package necessary? Especially if I’m not wanting quite as much lift?

I hear ya. I wish the suspension came a bit closer to level and maybe with fox shocks of some kind stock. Then I feel like I could leave it alone, ha!

Trying to stay as close to stock without losing ride quality, while getting just a little closer to level.

There recommended but you don’t have to run the uppers. Halolifts has a kit without them. If you go above 2” I would run them.

I added them to mine because at full droop stocks contact the spring. Just had mine installed last week and so far I'm liking them and the height adjustability.

Your truck looks great! Very clean. Is this the mountain kit? Those shock bodies look beefy, almost like 2.5s, which is why I ask!

Thank you. They are the standard 2.0s. nice finish to them though they really pop against the black liner I can see them from pretty far away.

What does everyone do with their take off suspension parts if they've replaced everything. My stuff has 1k miles on them but they are pretty much useless to me. I don't see any scenario where I would install stocks back on.

Horde them like your drawer/box of old ass serial and vga cables

Not sure how long you will keep your truck or how hard you will use it. But if you need to have your shocks re built and don't have a service center close to you. You can put the stock coilovers back on while you send them off if there's a long lead time.

Good point. Speaking of what the average service interval with halos coil overs. Pretty much street driving.

Maybe ask in the Halo lift group buy thread. Not sure what the Elka service intervals is. I have ran all the shocks below and this is their rebuild intervals. I would guess its would be similar. But most start leaking well before service it due unless you are racing or hard core off roading with them.

Fox shocks are
100% Street. 50K
50/50 Street/Offroad 10K
100% Off road/Race 1K

ICON's are
100% Street. 40K
50/50 Street/Off-road 15K

KING
100% Street 30K
50/50 Street/Off-road 10-30K
100% Off-road/Race 1-5k

Has anyone used the HaloLifts spacers on a Tremor yet? Curious if you have to cut down the original studs.
