Levelled on stock tires

The ProTruck 2r kit won't get you level. I tried it. Still needed a 1/2 puck to get "level ish"

I don’t need to be perfectly level. 1.5-2” taller would still leave 1-1.5” rake which is fine. I do tow and haul gear in the back so don’t want to get too squatted.

39.5 front wheel arch, 42 rear wheel arch. Visually still a LOT of rake. The eibachs come maxed out, out of the box.

Adding a solid 1/2 puck won me
40.5 front 42 rear, perfect

Ride quality very much the same, except noted better control over washboard and rough pavement. No harshness. I call it OEM+ type feel.

Control arms not a bad idea for sure but the ball joint and cv weren't anywhere near limits so I just went with it. I'm not hard on my truck at all so I rolled the dice. Can always upgrade parts that break.

Thanks, that’s helpful. Just makes it evident that while this Eibach stage 2 kit may be popular, it’s obviously not made for specifically tremors, even tho Eibach says it works. It would be nice if it actually provided the full 2-2.5” advertised (I know, for a for a standard F150) instead of half that. Or it should at least have a Tremor disclaimer.

According to what Eibach told me, they are set at 2.3-2.5” lift for a standard F150, which would equate to about 1.3-1.5” for a Tremor. Perhaps this has changed from when you bought your kit?

They do not. Thats my point, and it’s misleading. When you go on the Eibach website and put in your truck’s specs and indicate you have a Tremor, it pops up with a kit that clearly says it’s compatible with a Tremor. BUT, it’s the exact same (same part number) kit for standard, non-Tremor F150’s too. So while yes, the parts will technically fit a Tremor, but given the Tremor comes about 1” taller than standard F150’s already, you are going to get that 1” less lift out of it when installed on our trucks. Which also means you are gonna get 1” less shock travel out of them and could be more likely to bottom out. Seems shady to me!

They do say the stage 3 kit has longer shocks which will help, but it still lifts the same height, and of course costs a lot more!

So don’t think for a second that Eibach has done us a solid and actually offered a Tremor specific kit. It’s just some tricky wording.

I’d go with what they said. I don’t remember what it measured out for mine

Yep even the guy at a fairly big and competent off road shop was confused. I DEFINITELY only got 1 inch lift in front with Eibach pro truck 2r set to max. Hence adding the 1/2 spacer to get another inch.

Risks aside of topping or bottoming out, I drive conservatively because my truck is expensive to me and I like to take care of my things so I don't beat on it. Used but not abused. If I bust a shock.... Well... Guess I'll upgrade again. I'll be really surprised if that happens in the life of my ownership of it though.

Yes. A 1/2 inch thick puck raises the suspension about 1 full inch.
