Because matte is way more difficult to take care of, doesn’t buff out when scratched, gets damaged easily by environmental actors like bird poop, tree sap, or road tar. Matte paint looks cool, but is a massive pain to take care of. If you want matte, be like yeti, get a wrap or matte ppf

According to the Xpel website they recommend a vinyl treatment every so often or a ceramic coat over the top. But otherwise you just treat it like paint. Safe for pressure washing and car washes.

I wish. $7k. The cab top is normal vinyl. For some reason, I thought it was going to be ppf over vinyl. Well see how quickly I'm going to need to replace those a pillars.

I also had a full PPF (Xpel) wrap, I did not go with the satin, stuck to the clear. Mine came in right at $6800, so pretty spot on with Yeti.
