Because matte is way more difficult to take care of, doesn’t buff out when scratched, gets damaged easily by environmental actors like bird poop, tree sap, or road tar. Matte paint looks cool, but is a massive pain to take care of. If you want matte, be like yeti, get a wrap or matte ppfDefinitely dig the more matte look. I dunno why every car seems to be high gloss paint.
Hopefully the 10 years they warranty it for.Looks GREAT. How long do you expect the wrap to last before having to redo it? Any maintenance, wash like normal?
Love the black accents...congrats Yeti...super nice
Looks amazing man! I like the black up top! That's going to looks great with the RSI cap on it.
According to the Xpel website they recommend a vinyl treatment every so often or a ceramic coat over the top. But otherwise you just treat it like paint.
