HUDs are a pain in the ass with polarized sunglasses.
Tails are aweful
Don’t understand tailgates with weird openings
Headlights/grill I kinda dig on the tremor (raptors horrid)
Kinda dig the green/brown color but that raptor looks like a toyota
I want the damn cameras over useless 5mph/with turns…that looks promising

Bumper I’d be down for but it looks like it wouldn’t match our body so you’d have to replace the panel between grill/bumper. Since grills diff you’re basically going with a 24 retrofit. At a glance it seems like it’d be too much of a pain at which point I’d just go ADD

IMO/thoughts

Not sure how others feel about this, but hoping the next gen has a digital rearview mirror, a tailgate dropdown camera, and I'd like to see more options/customization on the digital cluster. Of course at the rate the prices are increasing with minimal changes (especially technology-wise) maybe not ha.

Does anyone know if the 2024 hood is the same for 21-23 models? Hopefully, it is, and we may see a hood deflector in the near future.

I'm surprised Ford if offering a light up Ford front badge. It would be interesting to see what those double orange bars would look like lighted up. hint hint.
The emblem isn’t lit up. Just really reflective.

Someone get me a grille to develop on….

I’m at the event. Here’s a bunch of pics!

Thanks for posting all the photos! How does one get on the list for these type of events?

TFL did a quick walk around the new F150 Tremor:

I got invited through Instagram by friends of ford.

priced one out, cause I really want the bumper.. and it's like 12k more. yea.. got mine for 67k, 47k base with options. This is 78k loaded. Will wait and see if we can come up with a solution to make the bumper work, don't care about lights lining up.. want a winch

Yep, price is up there!

I would love to see a digital rearview mirror. Fantastic feature in the GM and Ram lineup. Ford would seriously have to up their game with the resolution of the bed camera though to add this feature. Instead they are just cutting features still, while adding gimicky ones like the tailgate.

Yeah I bought my ‘18 Lariat in May 2017 and my dad bought his ‘19 AT4 in Feb 2018 and we paid almost exactly the same (~$65K) and his has the cool tailgate (although gimmick as well, it is the best tailgate out there and didn’t put his truck more expensive than mine), 360 degree cameras (mine only had reverse), digital rear mirror, and HUD. Also more off road equipment obviously. I guess you could argue mine had a moonroof. We can all have opinions on the quality of each manufacturer and how they run, but to me that’s a big difference in technology for the same price.

He still has his AT4. Probably will be his last truck he buys because he doesn’t really put miles on his vehicles. I upgraded to a ‘23 Tremor in January and he still has more technology than I do haha. I gained cameras but lost heated steering wheel and paid $10K more than just 5 years ago haha. (Obviously there are some other features gained since my ‘18 and of course prices are up everywhere).

But as far as the new ‘24s go, I agree about the tailgate. Not a fan. Hate the taillights. The front is starting to grow on me, more than I thought it would. Other than HUD, not a whole lot more as far as features go. Hopefully Ford looks into some of these features for the next gen, but like you said, it seems like they are hellbent on removing stuff instead. I’m scared to see what the next gen is going to cost though whether new features are added or not.

Still, all tremors, including this new recycle, are beautiful looking trucks that run well (can only assume so for ‘24).

I'd like to know if there was any increase in payload?

I'm not impressed with the grille and headlights. The changes aren't enough for me to love this truck more than my 2022 402A. I love the dynmanic bending headlights and the new front end looks cheap and to be in the same level as the XL... no thanks.

If you do a build and price it is an option to get a light up front emblem

Interesting. Can't say I like the grill better though. I will say, that color on the new Raptor is off the charts. I guess you have to spend $120K to get that though. Too bad, love to see that on the Tremor.

It will be interesting to know how much that tailgate package will be though. Notice how they're showing a fully loaded Platinum.

Those tailgates are because many people use they're truck just like an SUV. The closer you get to the entire bed the better as that works just like if you had an Expedition just not as tall. I did install a collapsible grappling hook of sorts under my Diamondback so I can bring things to the tailgate when out of reach. Very useful.

I was playing with the configurator- not liking the options! 402A is $11,000 and forces pro power, B&O unleashed, Torsten, HUD....AND you only get LED reflector headlights? It comes out to $77,200! I'm glad I got my '23 for $68k.

3.5EB is an upcharge too.
