Can somebody explain what - "Full activation" under the 360 degree camera means? Is that now a subscription service? That wording doesn't show up on the 2023 builder.

Hey I need that bumper to mount my winch from my old truck to my 23

$410?!?!? That’s robbery! It’s just the putco badge sold by ford.

I was playing with the configurator- not liking the options! 402A is $11,000 and forces pro power, B&O unleashed, Torsten, HUD....AND you only get LED reflector headlights? It comes out to $77,200! I'm glad I got my '23 for $68k.

3.5EB is an upcharge too.
Agree, big downgrade compared to the current Tremor.

I'd like to know if there was any increase in payload?
Sorry to say this but I doubt it as every other model of the F150 had a slight decrease, they did away with the max payload package as a whole and even the towing rates went from 14k to 13.5k.
They say this is to keep with the emissions and mpg regulations, I guess we will see how things continue to play out.

They asked Farley about this and he said hardly anyone buys it, so it was an easy decision to drop it. He said it's a very specific build. You have to buy a 4 x 2 regular cab with 8 foot bed and add several other upgrades and the max towing. I take that as just a bragging rights number that nobody will miss.

to me it sounds like a one time fee. the cameras are on all the trucks. but unless you pay the fee, then you don't get to use them. probably one of the items people regret not getting later on. now they can have the cameras and if they really want it, just an activation is needed for them.

I need that HUD. DGAF about anything else, least of all about the 'new' Tremor where they give you the privilege of paying top dollar for worse headlights.

do you use polarized sunglasses? if so, the HUD would be useless as the sunglasses dont show the HUD

Can you explain in as much detail as you can, so if you end up writing an essay I will read all of it, on why it's such a necessary option for you? I've never owned a vehicle with one, and each time I saw one I thought: "that's cool" for like 30 seconds and then I never thought about a HUD ever again. Or are you just being sarcastic?

I never thought I would like this option until I had it on my 21 Aviator. Now I miss it. I pictured it as being right in your face, but it displays ahead of the hood. On the Aviator, is showed temp, DTE, speed, time and lane keeping info. It showed lines simulating a lane and would display green on both sides and turn red if you strated driftong to that side. It also showed distance it front of you. It would display white when in the safe zone of the chosen distance and then yellow if a little too close and finally red if you were way too close.
It you had nav set, it would show distance remaining and hoe far to a turn and an arrow indicating the direction the turn will be. When you approach the turn, the arrow becomes exagerated so hard to miss.

Two reasons: People around here drive like psychopaths and being able to check my speed without taking eyes off the road could be a literal lifesaver, and I'm a retard who would get way more excited than I'm comfortable admitting at satisfying a childhood checkbox of "living in the future."

I use polarized sunglasses with the HUD in an Aviator absolutely fine 🤷‍♂️
Really? My moms bmw had a hud and polarized glasses didn’t show it. That’s my only experience. Figured all huds were the same if they are just reflecting off the windshield.

I've had the same issues with HUD and polarized lenses.

Wonder if it’s the angle. Thinking about it most of my experience has been with sports cars which are typically more of an aggressive angle than an suv

I've never had an issue when driving my dad's AT4, but I own so many sunglasses who knows if I was in fact wearing polarized ones or not any of the times I drove it. I would have to imagine at least one or two times I was wearing polarized sunglasses haha.

I read the payload decrease is because the 34 gallon tank is going into every f150. They’re reducing individual options and streamlining packages. Not as extreme as Toyota, but that’s the direction they’re going. Harder to nickel and dime a more premium level that way. Gotta pay to have that Torsten and raptor transfer case.
