RAD Straps - built in bed ratchet straps

Nah. They also have a really short throw. You can wratchet them pretty fast but it's still slightly annoying. However still preferable to pulling out a stap, setting it up, then rolling it back up and finding a place to store it in the cab. Still keeping a few on hand for bigger or more complicated loads though.
Are you sure? They look like self winding straps. You push the red button all the way in and pull the strap out and they rewind. If this is not the case I'm sending them back when they come.

I feel like an idiot right now... just went out and tested it, and yeah, holding the red button self winds the straps... I no longer have any complaints with them!

For those that have them installed, think these Would these fit in the builtright bed panel openings ?

If the stock box link cleats can mount on them then these will as well.

I looked at their Instagram and on 10/3/2022 they posted a picture showing how it fits with the BuiltRight panels!

So I now have the Builtright panels and rad straps. The rad straps will mount to the builtright panels, but the straps are too close to the panels, preventing the lever from getting into the position required for the self winding function to work. I’m planning to make some spacers to offset the straps to alleviate this problem. I’ve already told rad straps that their post saying they work is misleading as yes, they can be mounted, but functionality is hindered.

Do you have these in the horizontal or vertical position? I’m assuming with spacers it wouldn’t matter either way?

Mind posting a picture / update now that you have played with them for a bit? Assuming you found a workaround and kept them?
