Thoughts on Vehicle LED Lighting — Tremor Accent

Wow - you’ve come a long way on this! Is it possible to dial in the brightness to more closely match the marker light strip?

Incredible work!
I’m trying! Haha

The strip is dimmable, and I could wire in a dimmer controller but not sure I want to have that under the hood.

I sanded the acrylic to diffuse the light better and to hide the led strip, so it’ll never look exactly the same as the amber strip in the headlight. I can’t recess the led strip enough for it to be invisible(unless I get into some much more invasive mods to the grille.

Here’s how it looks no lit. Which I think makes it look more like the original trim pieces.

Made some good progress this weekend. Not as much as I’d hoped though. Soldering wiring to the new LED strip I got is proving difficult.

But I’ve ironed out the mounting scheme. This does require some minor modification to the grille. Just sanding down some standoffs that are under the trim piece so that the light bar can sit flush to the surface. I also drilled a hole on the far left and right to pull the light bar in around the curve.

Hope to figure out the soldering this week and assemble the bars for installation.
