Tire Talk

I know the question has been asked a few times throughout this forum, but I have been reading for about an hour and can't find a definitive answer. I have the Ready Lift 2 inch front leveling kit on my 2022. I would like to get into the 35inch club. What sizes have you run on your rigs on stock rims and suspension, that didn't need cutting? 305...295...35x12.5????

295/70r18 Falken Wildpeak At3w are working just fine on the stock wheels and suspension on my truck, no rub at all.

Exactly what I was hoping to find here as I currently have no plans to lift (I've had the truck since saturday). Probably only going to 285's but if 295's work with no issues then I know I'll be set. I'll be going Toyo AT3's as I've had great luck with them on my previous F150 and on my 4runner (cannot say the same for the General ATx that came stock, they were ok until about 30k miles then started hydroplaning every time it rained hard).

Get 285/75

I loved them, I had them on 2014 Land Cruiser. Quiet, great traction, cosmetics were spot on. Problem is the 295/70 is back ordered for the foreseeable future. Plan is purchase them once they become available. Just hope I can hold out that long.
I’ll sell you mine 😂

I just blew out a rear tire, at least a 3-4” gash in the sidewall- I had to of knocked it on something in the past and a little pothole got it.

Do I replace both rear tires? 27k on the three remaining tires, with about half the tread height of the spare tire.

To be honest, it really all depends on your budget but if it were me, I’d just go ahead and replace all four tires and sell the remaining three to a used tire shop for a little savings. Without replacing all four, you’re always going to have a wear imbalance.

Sorry for my wording, but I am suggesting buying 1 tire then moving the spare to the other and putting the worn tire on the spare and back under the truck. So 2 fresh tires in the rear. The fronts are 6/32 and rears would be new. I was quoted $477 for new tire, put on, and then the swapping of tires between the other rims.

4 new LT Toyo Open Country AT/3 would be like 2.2k installed which I had been planning to do once the 4 factory tires went out
