Tonneau Covers

Any comment in regards to the water resistance of it? Is there anywhere that you know of where you can get a particularly good deal on one?
I also have the Retrax XR Pro. When it rains it keeps water out well enough for me, but when I go through a touchless car wash, water and soap definitely get through.

Just sharing my experience with Bak. Quality went woke and I’ll never buy again. Didn’t fit. I know everyone can get a lemon but in the 150 forum there are more and more cases posted thier. It’s about 10 or so hours I lost my time trying to get it to fit followed by dealing with them. Never again
After many measurements with pictures they agreed to a refund as long as I sent proof I destroyed it. Here’s before and after

Damn I could've used a new 1000 meter target!

This is all too common in today’s world, but let me tell you that the dipshits at this company underestimated the bad PR they earned by treating you this way.

An expedited replacement, with a discount for your inconvenience, would have played much better to you and those watching.

This is a horrible example of customer service!

I installed the BAK Rev X4s on my 23 402a. I made sure to torque the clamps to 10ft/lbs like the instructions said. You can really get crazy and over tighten and tweak the rails and fitment. The only issue I had was I needed to trim the rubber gasket back just on the other side of the tailgate so it would open and close with the cover down. The tailgate goes up and down on it's own and doesn't rub now. I peeled up their logo sticker after I was done. I like the plain look.

Try Lomax - I like what I have.

BTW, "Quality went woke"... Sorry, what does that mean exactly, I don't get it.

I really like the x4s and I'm like 2 clicks away from ordering it. But I really, really dislike that rubber seal. You have this nice matte black finish, and then I see this glossy, rubbery seal that looks like electrical tape. I don't know why but it bothers me.

I'll probably end up painting the seal with matte black so it conceals a little better.

Has anyone gone hinged hardtop? Thinking about a Diamondback but I need access to the front of the bed to reach my built right panels, so don’t know how I feel about it. I went cheap option for the last year but want to reduce water getting into the bed on my carpet and stuff- plus security.

Going with a Diamondback 270 - they had a Black Friday deal last year [announced on the day] so going to see if that repeats this year.
