To those who ordered, any desire for the lights to have a start up animation?

Lights would do something like this, but obviously in a straight line.

I plan to hook mine up to an aux switch, not sure if the startup would work for me going that route, but otherwise yes, that's dope.

Oh. No. These lights are always amber. The lens is amber so will only ever be amber light.

I like the startup sequence but the question is would it also be customizable so if we later changed out mine and wanted it to just instantly turn on we could modify it? I'm ok either way but was also thinking about wiring it to an aux switch and would probably just want instant on when I flick on the switch in that case

After talking to my light strip supplier, the animation is a bigger hit to cost and lead time than I was expecting. So I’m going to skip the animation.

I also can’t reach everyone who ordered and get input on whether it’s desired or not and figure I should just stick to what people ordered to avoid instances where I add something that someone doesn’t want.

I apologize for getting folks excited.

Update #1 on pre-order status

Orders have been placed for housings, light strips, and lens material.

Lens material will be here this week so I can start making the lenses while waiting for the rest of the parts. This is the most tedious part of the work, so once the housing and light strips show up, it should just be assembly.

I’ll make sure to post more updates as I progress towards shipment of orders.

Your kit comes with t splices, but for easier/cleaner install for parking lights only ( I want these only on a night and no turn signals), would this connector work?
