yea, i'm just a solo dude fitting this in around the full time engineering job and other fulltime job of being a dad. i know my slowness to open orders and then my lead times irritate lots of people, but this isn't my primary profession and i don't like the idea of taking too many orders where any life event could greatly impact my ability to deliver.

Well I'll be the first to say, I'm patient. And understand family and primary income comes first! So appreciate all that you do!

Question tho...is it possible to only have this light up when the headlights are actually on, yet still have blinker capability? Or is it either/or? I'd like to only run it on at night along with a Putco emblem, but have it off during the day. I'm guessing others have done that and would just have to wire into the headlight circuit. But then guessing I'd lose the turn signal capability and not be able to use a plug & play harness, which isn't too bad I guess.

You could certainly wire it up that way. You’d be on your own for that wiring though as my plug n play harness isn’t setup that way.

I’ll say though, my headlights are on during the day too so I don’t think you would have much difference by wiring to the headlight circuit rather than the DRL circuit.

You could wire them to an upfitter for the DRL portion and the turn signal to the turn signal circuit.

But you’d have to make your own harness to connect the 2 lights together and tie into an upfitter.

OK. That makes sense. So there are two inputs then coming into the light. One for the "turn" and one for "on" which usually comes from the DRL? I have my headlights on auto, so I'd like it to kick on when those do so that would be one input, then the other to the turn signal? I'd just have to wire it myself. I thought there was only one input, but I guess it would make sense there are two inputs since DRL's don't blink on ours. Duh. HAHA

I have a brand new Putco emblem I'm not going to install. I bought it when they were on sale. Comes with PNP harness

I actually tested a “capacitor” that my light supplier sent me and it seemed to fix the animation issue. So now they are working to shrink it since the one they sent was a pretty big box. I’m not sure when they will be ready but definitely making some progress.
