What are your pet peeves so far

Having only on the truck one week but already putting 800 miles on it my first pet peeve is that the rear windows are not auto up or auto down. I will look at modifying the switches. My second peeve is the fact that you have to reset your driving mode if you turn off the engine. I know I probably shouldn’t but I seem to be using sport the most
The lack of rear windows auto up down really sucks. Interested if you come up with a fix modifying the switches. I would think that could be fixed by that software, forscan?

I haven't figured out how to set the pick up bed lights to come on automatically when tailgate is open. Its a pain in the ass searching for button in the dark. Anyone know if there is a setting for this?

If it’s anything like the auto windows I’m familiar with on other brands the switch itself will have to be replaced. They are typically two position you push it down halfway and the window rolls up down, but if you push it all the way it is auto

7. A little surprised at how shit the gas mileage is tbh, nowhere near what was advertised, for me at least. City driving and traffic, barely getting 16mpg. As I remember, it was advertised 18-21 mpg or something like that. I'd have to be going 70-75, in eco mode, no traffic to get 18-19.

You do live in Miami.....I moved out 12 years ago after living there 30 years and remember how horrific traffic was then, can just imagine how worse it is now..so yeah, shitty gas mileage I would suspect....

Have to agree with the advertised MPG vs actual. I think it was advertised at 16/20 but I get around 15 according to the computer but at the pump its closer to 14 for in town driving. I don't think I am heavy footed, but will say the cold weather mpg when the truck isn't fully warm is absolute terrible. When it was 0-20F on my drive to work I would get 10mpg before it warmed up.

I won't complain about highway not reaching the advertised 20 since the speed limit is 80 and we have lots of mountain passes where I live. Haven't seen past 15.5 at the pump since I've owned the truck, 4500 miles or so.

Might be on winter gas as well still, and they rate these using 93 I believe

The rear windows thing has always been that way on F150s, and it is not possible to change via Forscan or even replacing the switches. The rear doors lack a module needed to have auto up/down. People have been complaining about this for years on the F150 and have still yet to come up with a solution.

I guess it could be argued that it’s a safety issue. But other cars have it.

Yes after an auto-up window recently killed someone I would bet that is it.

"A young girl was killed in Arizona this weekend when a car window "rolled up on her," the Phoenix Police Department said.
Officers responded to reports of a traffic collision around 7:30 p.m. local time, authorities said.
"When officers arrived they learned this was not actually a traffic collision, but a juvenile girl had been injured while playing inside a parked vehicle at a residence," police said.
"The investigation showed the child was injured when one of the vehicle's power windows was rolled up on her," they added."

That makes me sick. How sad.

The traffic down your way is horrid, when I run interstate I'm averaging 21-22, mostly suburban/rural I get around 18.5-19, city/hwy combined averaging 17.4 currently, the more miles I get the better it seems to get, I also think the air filter may have helped a little after the truck reprogrammed for the airflow change, read the review in the air filter. That's towing around 5k at least once a week for around 15 miles. The 17.4 as it sits currently.

I plan on taking it apart and installing two switches like the front windows have

Just read all the posts and it appears my solution will not work. I wonder what modules the front doors have that rear don’t and if I could integrate them into the rear doors
