What's new

What are your pet peeves so far

I’be never had it do it in motion, only when I come to a stop <1mph.
Makes sense. And, I can see some benefits to it, but I just didn't expect it the first time it happened while moving, so the truck kind of lurched into park and it didn't sound or feel too good.

The only thing I’m not excited about the auto-park feature is that the transmission is electronically controlled, there is no hardware connecting the shifter to the transmission.

This has been the case for a long time, but I miss the old days where I could put my truck into park going 70 on the freeway (lol). Idk how these hold up, I’m new to *new* vehicles.

just open your door next time you are on the freeway, let us know how it goes! LMAO!!!

Hahaha!

It's one of those things though, that when you've just started moving and you realize the door isn't fully shut, so you open it to close it harder... not something you can do with this truck. I'd like the option to be able to disable it, but doesn't seem like that's a thing. Oh well! Just one of those quirks I need to learn to live with.

"I'd like an option to disable it [the safety feature]" will never happen and here's why (lol).

The common denominator for every law, rule or fail-safe in any system is.. Idiots. That's right, dumb people who did a dumb thing and then ford got sued and/or the EPA required some safety feature to prevent accidents in the future.

We need to revisit the DMVs requirements for who can hold a license because I bet most of these automakers would stop making these stupid overcomplicated features if the EPA saw a drop in vehicular-related deaths.

1. First and foremost, that i needed to spend $250 (X2 because my girlfriend threw the first set away by accident ) and take apart my dash to get lights it should've already come with.

2. That i paid extra for the B&O unleashed and it's straight lame, i should've saved the money and just gone straight aftermarket because I'm going to do that anyways.

3. Agreed on both the driving mode and the auto up and auto down windows, my GTI cost half and it had all of this, plus a better sound system. Seems like they knocked it out with some features, and then also left out some of the most basic shit.

4. That they shit all over the Tremor by making the BAP have everything the Tremor has and then allowing you to put it on basically a base model F150.

5. That the air recirculation turns off by itself, but apparently this is a Ford thing.

6. The chrome on the F150 badge and on the interior - i wish it was all blacked out like the BAP. Hate chrome, doesn't belong anywhere on an off-road truck, should've at least given the option to delete it, I'd have paid extra.

7. A little surprised at how shit the gas mileage is tbh, nowhere near what was advertised, for me at least. City driving and traffic, barely getting 16mpg. As I remember, it was advertised 18-21 mpg or something like that. I'd have to be going 70-75, in eco mode, no traffic to get 18-19.

All that being said, i still think it's the best truck out right now, and I'd buy it again (though now I'd be really tempted to just get a BAP platinum fully loaded), but you did ask about pet peeves 😅
I think you need to trade it in for a Dodge rebel !!

I have only had my '25 Tremor for about a month. Although I am absolutely love my truck - there are a few pet peeves that I have...
  • Keeping the pointless Parking Assist hard button above the center infotainment
  • Keeping the button mentioned above; however, removing the button for changing display and relocating the Auto Start/Stop button
  • Removing the factory installed keypad
  • FordPass works intermittently (locking/unlocking, updating location, tire pressure, mileage, etc.)
    • Apparently, this is a known issue with a number of 2025 models (per FordPass reps)
    • Makes not having the factory installed keypad more annoying
  • No memory seats for a $60K+ vehicle*
  • No 4A for a $60K+ truck*
*I weighed the options in the 402A and to me it wasn't worth adding the $11.7K package for but still should be standard on a truck at this trim level (I can definitely understand why others feel it was worth it).

Hahaha, how true, sadly!

After almost 3 years in my 22,402A
Not much to complain about. Forscan fixed a few things too.

*Just the cameras should record ( had to get a dash cam ) shouldn't be necessary.
*No volt meter display ( Anyone have suggestions?? )

Overall pretty amazing truck, by far the best model in the F150 lineup

Well mine a 24 402a stayed with the 3.5 drove the V-8 ,it didn't have what the 3.5 did. But that's me. Have shut off must of everything they added , lane keeping , auto breaking , thats fun. All that Crap they put on them now. But great truck. Sun Roof leaks , 9 days in repair. But I think they fixed it, Replaced the glass. How is that 2.5" holding up ? Had this 24 New for a year now w-7000 miles now. Want to lift it but on the 24's reading a lot about u-joints going out in the Front ? What is Forscan? I see a lot of people talking about it. Hell I had trouble sinking my phone. Other than that the Tremor is a really nice truck. Only time will tell. Mostly use mine off road and going hunting. mine does have a volt meter , you can see when it really charging. And that's most of the time. The Tremor is hard on the batteries for some reason. My truck has a small 12-V battery under the back seat. Don't know what for. Awesome truck.

I cant remember If i posted this one. But man oh man do I miss the gallons used feature.

Love my truck...but

I cannot stand the cylinder deactivation. If you are running a stock exhaust it really isn't noticeable but get anything just slightly louder than stock and it is very apparent.

I really do not like the way these transmissions whine, and sport mode should be the default driving mode, and normal should be labeled ECO

I don't like the rake but I am taking care of that and have my tires and HaloLift ready to put on.

Other than that, for a modern truck I really like it, but I also have a sinking feeling that with most modern vehicles I will be chasing sensor issues, computer glitches, and random errors because of software nightmares. Just give me manual windup windows, a tape deck, and a manual transmission.

22's were easy to level. Not sure about 24& newer. No major stress on front components.
Forscan hooks up to your OBD. Software, lets you change some simple things.
Remove double honk, door chimes, light settings, etc. Pretty cool actually and easy to navigate.
I hated the rake, first thing was to level it. Now i haul soo much stuff i added RAS suspension stabilizers, kinda lifted the back a little. Looks more lifted now. Room for 37's. But went with 34x11.5x17. For weight savings for now!.
