Today I installed an Aux/upfitter wiring harnes. My brother made the harness for me( I was informed that a member already makes them, however, found that out a little bit after the fact). Any how, I searched and followed Fozzy’s instructions (the red taped wire set), connected the wires and then there was light, I wrote down what each colored wire relates to its numbered switch for those that desire to do the same in the future. You will see in the photos that there is a set of wires with black tape, they originally had the white tape around them. Color pattern appeared to be identical.
I took my time and checked each wire individually so as to not mix any wires. Took about 30-40 minutes. I think this rig is coming along nicely.
Also built a simple, simple guess I can call it a mid stop. It folds forwards and backward completely flat. I can disconnect the arms with ease. The two rubber strips keeps it from sliding around as it’s sandwiched in between the bed and tailgate. I added some hooks for just because. It weighs about 12lbs and easy to put in and take out. I can still load large, heavy and long loads if need be without a problem.
