What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Hope yours last longer then mine did, only made it about 8 months before they all crapped out simultaneously.
Me too...yikes. For what it's worth: all failing at the same time sounds like the splice failed. Seems unlikely that all 3 or 5 lights failed at the exact same time due to a defect.

Are they replacing with compensation for your time?
Just curious as I won’t buy anything from them if not

You'd have to ask Duetin...I just installed mine and Im happy so far. I was saying I hope mine don't fail also. My only "complaint" is the kit has way too much extra wire length that I had to get pretty creative in hiding. That is relatively minor in my opinion.

There pretty good for backing up there stuff, but I had nothing but trouble with the under the hood led strips too. So kind of over there products, moved on to another company for the three raptor lights now.

I've had my since June 2022 and never had any issues, except for the sticky tape not be sticky enough and I had to install 3M two sided tape.

I installed their running board lights, amber in color. Not as bright as I was thinking they'd be, plus the gel adhesive I'm not a fan of. Thinking if they start to fall/sag I'll put 3M high adhesive tape on them. I ran cool white leds on my old truck, very bright, used 3M tape and never had any issues. Got the leds off Amazon.

What was your installation cost if you had a shop do it please?

I’m getting quoted 7 labor hours to install a 3” readylift level kit

Seems high at $199 an hour
I paid $425 ish for install and alignment. I was quoted $350-$375 ish up front. Another shop quoted me about $1k for install only. The AS kit does not require strut disassembly, you just have to remove the strut. That is likely why 7 hours labor as they are disassembling the front suspension. I was charged extra on the labor as the second strut did not want to play nice and was a bear to install which took longer. I was fine with that.
I hope that helps.you.

That’s way too much. I paid 2 hours labor to have my fox 2.0 installed which does require disassembling the struts. I wouldn’t go anywhere that says more than 3 hours labor.

So I have yet to actually post anything I've done to my truck since picking it up Feb 9th, 2024. But kinda excited about this mod / improvement and wanted to put it out there in case anyone else was interested in doing it. It may already by on this forum, I know lots of talk about it on the F150 Gen14 forum.

I have a 2023 Tremor 402A package. So I ordered FL3Z-13C724-E harness (rear passenger) that came in the 2015 thru 2017 F150. It comes with the small dot light that the 22s and 23s come with but also a small bar for the bottom cubbies like the 21s came with. When it finally came in I went into Forscan and made changes in APIM (7D0-01-02-xxxx-xxxx-Ax enables ambient light color change palate on infotainment screen) and then BCM (726-55-01-03xxx-xxxx enables Ice Blue for door close and Red for door ajar) Mine were already coded for Ice Blue and Red. Removed panel, plugged in new light harness and shut door. Started the truck, enabled parking lights so ambient lights would be on. Ice blue light in both spots. Then opened door and it switched to red. Excellent!!

Hooked everything back up, put paneling back on, waited for night to take the pics, lol. Got the other 3 harnesses on the way. It's the small things...

I agree on the overall cost being too high. In SoCal the average labor rate seems to be about $175 ish and hour.

Finally dipped into FORScan and enabled Glare Free, Bambi Mode, enabled cameras at speed, and disabled the double honk. Glare Free and Bambi mode are pretty nice! I haven't had a chance to test the others yet.

That's pretty slick! Do you have the part numbers for all of the doors?

For all you guys doing GlareFree... can you tell it's working and ducking the light where incoming traffic is?

I really wanna try it but I'm SCURRD
