What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Sounds like someone has been losing a little sleep themselves, based on the specific nature of your reply! 🙂
Analysis Paralysis will be on my tombstone

Method Beadgrip 705's with a Falken AT4 (E load rating on all) in particular (and current sizing options) if you're sticking with a 33" rolling diameter the 18x9 combo adds the least amount of weight (+6.1lb/ea) but if you're going to a 34" rolling diameter the 17x8.5 is a better option (+9.8lb/ea). The 18/34 combo adds the most (mostly because of the Falken options) at +15.2lb/ea

Car nerds that bought a truck for truck reasons and can’t leave shit alone 😅

I bet those same folks spend hours digging into wheel and tire package/suspension weight differences compared to the OEM in the hopes of losing some unsprung mass to make a 5000lb lifted offroad truck faster and more nimble. Possibly even losing sleep over whether raptor downpipes fit just to use the trombone mid pipe to make it sound a little better and pick up ~20hp. I need better hobbies.
Will spoil that dream for you, they don't fit without modification and there is no aftermarket trombone right now. In fact only SPD makes gen14 non raptor downpipes and they specifically note that it doesn't match up to the trombone without modification. One less thing for you to worry about 😀

I’ve yet to find first hand “I’ve done it” kinda talk (though I haven’t gone down that rabbit hole as far as things like wheel and tire weights) but it sounds like I’m not completely crazy/alone

Might still get a wild hair up my ass and just bust out the sawzall and welder…or more likely a case of beer and some cigars for my bud that does better than a braile version of LoTR.

May I ask a stupid question? What is the purpose of a folding plate holder?
Well, in my head, because I removed the air blocking OEM license plate holder, I wanted to lower the license plate holder about 3-4 inches, but really didn’t want to infringe too much on front approach angle. So, I wanted something that could move out of the way on trails to maintain some type of angles and retain a more open front air access for the intercooler. Best of both worlds, kinda. It makes sense for me. Have a trip coming up and will see how crafty I really am.

Absolutely nothing actually I love them! Rides exactly like stock but more level the way the truck should be off the lot. I got a hold of some really good coilovers and piggy back rears but they need to be rebuilt. So eventually I might upgrade to those. For now I’m beyond happy with stage 3s 2.3 kit. Highly recommend!

Ready lift 3” level
Weather tech HD mats and window shades
Bakflip MX4 tonneau
Rhino lined bed
Built Right under seat storage bar
Front and back seat covers

Really hoping my wife never gets an account on here.

Now going down the rabbit hole of tires. Ugh.

I feel bad for you guys, my wife drives a 2UZ-swapped Gen III 4 runner with about 20K worth of mods. Whenever I go to do something with my truck, she awaits anxiously to tell me what she does/doesn't like, but never about what we can/cant afford :ROFLMAO:
Better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission

Deleted the resonator on my 23 3.5 and finally got rid of that annoying rattle. Can’t tell it’s louder at all but you can hear the turbos more, so that is cool. Was hoping it’d be a little louder but it’s worth it to have the rattling during cold handled. Had a muffler shop do it for me for $75 so half the online delete pipes.

My wife is somewhat similar though I ask for her opinion. She cares less what I spend money on, that includes modding vehicles. I think she understands it makes me happy and in reality why wouldn't our wives want us to be happy?

I installed the Rigid cube lights on the front bumper. I had previously installed the Dyode Dynamics bumper brackets.
Gonna wire them up upfitter #1 sometime this week.
Also, installed the Ford side door moldings. Gives the truck a whole different look.
Lobo what brackets did you use for the Rigid lights on the bumper?

My wife doesn't even ask anymore. She just tells me to put the dang parts on the vehicle when the parts start piling up in her house.

I picked up a 2023 3.5 401a in March.

So far:
Husky floor mats
MORIMOTO license plate leds
Tremor debadge on the bed sides (hate me if you want, it was a bit much for me)
Ceramic coating
Corsa Performance Sport exhaust (it sounds great)
Forscan double honk removal

….if you can afford it, go for it! If you can’t, enjoy the piss out of your Tremor, it’s a hell of a truck off the lot! Spend wisely my friends :)
