Sad day for the tremor. Was stopped and got rear ended by a wrangler with a big ass bumper going 45 mph. I then hit the suv in front of me. Frame appears to be bent at the rear and I’m wondering if there’s more frame damage towards the middle due to how the bed is now sitting. Let’s say they total it. Do I remove the wheels/tires and borla exhaust or will they factor that in/can I claim the extras?View attachment 33315View attachment 33316View attachment 33317

You can claim the exhaust, wheels and tires with the other insurance company. They will likely give you actual cash value (which is depreciation). If you have the original equipment and plan on getting another tremor you could switch it out like the other guy said. Make sure that you don't accept the claim if you don't agree to the valuation.

Let me add something. I’ve had my DB for two years and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve sat on top of that cover and that ability has been worth all the money. In fact, this weekend we went to the air show and while that adults sat in chairs on the ground, the tail gate was the dinner table/bar the teen agents sat on top of the truck bed hanging out.

Well worth the extra money.

How’s the Diamond back? I am leaning towards the 270

I've only had it a monthish but so far I like it. Getting it setup by myself was a bit of work but doable (I have the Switchback which comes in one piece so it took a little effort getting it into the bed and up on the rails). The thing is super solid and folding back the panels is pretty easy: rear with one hand from outside the bed; to double fold with the middle panel, I need to get in the bed - the extended latch on the off side gets hung up if I try and do it from just one side. Other than that, it works great, especially with the Pro Access Tailgate. And the folding will let me hang a bike over the tailgate.
I was originally set on the Renegade cover because it folds back from both ends but the 6 month wait and about $1k more in price was just too much.

After a tragic accident where I jackknifed my flat-towed Bronco into my Tremor (profile pic) I decided I wanted the truck back looking like it was a new/different truck to make it easier to pretend I didn't do that.

Finally got my "no-delete" rear seat platform finished and installed. It's just my wife and I and the little man so we don't really need rear seats but I didn't want to take them out. There's a larger area for a doggie bed and a taller, narrower one for the electric fridge when we go on trips (taller so it's easier to get into from the passenger seat and more stuff will fit underneath).

I'm getting pretty far down the mid list and starting to get thin on ideas that I actually want but today I swing for the fences and upgraded the drivers side wiper from a 22" to a 24" highly recommend to anyone in the market for some new ones. Also put some new tires on incase anyone cares Toyo RT trail in a 315/75/17 load range D and boy do I love these tires. View attachment 33403

Long-time lurker, first-time poster. There are always great ideas on here. Here are a few things I've added to the truck, mostly aesthetic." I purchased the bracket for the pod lights from SpacewhiteF150 and the wiring harness from CBlaxx19. I extended the harness to power the ditch lights so the backlights would all be on one switch.

Changed the oil and filter yesterday. The last time I changed the oil (5k miles ago) I installed the Valvomax. What a simple and mess free oil change, I should have been using these things for years. Not to start an oil discussion but I have been using Liqui Moly oils for years and they have been excellent, Liqi Moly Molygen 5w30 has been no exception in the Aviator and Tremor. I highly recommend it. Roughly $40 for a 5L jug and lifetime warranty returns on the used oil. Just send it back to FCP Euro and they refund the purchase price. Save money wherever you can these days.

@Lrjet55 I've got the same DB Switchback and love it. My dad had the HD, but I wanted to ability to quickly fold up and accommodate tall objects easily, plus i didn't like the price tag. It's still plenty sturdy for me to stand on top and wash the roof, etc.

When I picked up the truck, noticed that the battery SOC was at 70% so took it on a 40 minute drive to get it back up over 80%. Obviously felt the improvement in acceleration and speed. Gas mileage didn’t appear to be affected much since the instrument panel reading showed my normal 18.8 mpg. I had reset it before the drive. The transmission tune was noticeable as well; up shifts were smoother and brisk in normal mode with the 1 to 3 lunge gone. Downshifts were smoother, too. So far so good.

While at the dealership, they also installed a set of the gen1 raptor SVT shocks. No more wallowing in slow speed turns with generally less body roll at speed. Those stock rear shocks had way too little rebound damping (terrible on wash board roads). Rake did increase from 1.5” to 2.0”. Not bad, I can live with it.

It's ridiculous we have to pay to get the damn transmission to work as it should from factory.

I usually clean the transmission tables every so often to get the transmission to work as it should, but this tune should have been a free OTA update.

Out of curiosity what did they whack you for the tune?? and the Svt shocks?

For the Procal 4, $750 with an install of $150. The svt shocks I got from summit racing for $911 delivered; install was also $150.

Did you measure the rake after driving around? Maybe it's settled just a touch...

Good idea. I’ll remeasure the rake again maybe in the next week. The truck’s been in the barn so haven’t driven it for last three days due to our first snow of the season. It’s not so much the snow that’s disconcerting but, the Kansas winds in Ohio during a storm. We live amongst old growth trees.
