What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Been looking at the step letters. Just skeptical how well the will stick to the textured surface on the steps…any thoughts?
My plan is to make sure it's a warm day clean the steps good and dry and maybe heat up the step a bit with a heat gun and put a few drops of gorilla glue on the sticker side. 🤔

I cant be certain since time hasnt told. However, there is more recession in the lettering than i thought. So i dont predict they will go anywhere even if there isnt a lot of surface area to stick to (they are smaller than you would think). Maybe if you spray directly with a power washer or something they might come out.

If they come out obscenely early/easily i will post on here. Cheers!

Today, I bought these

I installed 2024 Raptor R wheels with 35x11.5 Falken Wildpeak AT4W tires. Really loving the wheels and the tires are way more comfortable than the recon grapplers I previously. Largely due to being load C instead of Load E.

That looks sooooo good with the gray.

What kind of suspension?
Thanks! I’m really liking them!

I have an Icon stage 4 setup with the billet UCAs.

I got the wheels for a heck of a deal too. $1k for all 4. Wheels came off the truck before it left the dealer and went into the boxes of the replacement wheels. Perfect condition.

Did you use lug nuts from the tremor or the raptor, or are they the same?

I used my tremor ones. The guy gave me the lugs from the raptor. They look the same.

Looks sweet, but would def be sweeter with black lugs! Cblaxx ~ I thought our tastes were in sync. :)
My finances are under strict scrutiny. The wheels/tires have already put me in the hot seat. So, I have to take things slowly and prioritize things. I still want an exhaust and some additional lifting upgrades this year. So I’m on thin ice at the moment.

When she doesn’t understand $1k for those wheels 😰

Looks great. Would she mind sharing the design file? I've actually wanted one of these and never thought to swap the GN03 with TRMR. Love it.
Cranberry, did you ever get the files for the decal? Trying to find files for that but haven’t found any like that!

Had bedliner shot and Diamondback Switchback installed on Thursday. Everything came out great, I love the look of the cover. Going back this coming Thursday for Weather Tech mudflaps, ceramic tint (front side windows to match rear tint as closely as possible, lightest everywhere else for IR/heat rejection) and PPF for those damn black plastic verticals on the door pillars while they still look like new and aren't yet scratched to hell just from being looked at funny. 🤪

I cancelled the order for the snow tires at the counter when I arrived for my install appointment once I found out I could do that. Good weather and bad information from Ford parts & the NWS made it irrational to proceed with the purchase. The wheels are allocated/reserved/whatever for me and they're fairly sure they haven't shipped yet but not 100%. They can't tell me if they are in stock, soon to be or backordered. They could show up Tuesday or in August. Average temperature for my location last Friday is 37f. It was 53 and forecast to stay unusually warm for a week plus like it's been for nearly a week already. Not a good time to be mounting tires intended for use under 45f. Thanks, NWS for your forecast saying to expect a colder than normal March. I'll buy those tires in September or October once wheels are firmly in hand.

Installed leveling spacers yesterday (1.5”), my oldest son came by and gave me a hand. 4 hands made it fairly quick process. I forgot to measure before and after though! At least I took before and after pics, exactly the change I was looking for.

I also installed the Ford OEM wheel well liners, glad I went with those, installed in minutes and perfect fit. Also did the Husky mudflats, really like the looks of those. Not too big, not too small, just right.
