What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Great fishing up here anywhere you go really, we always welcome you all to come visit! Lots of space and beautiful scenery up here in Canada! 🍁
Absolutely! This is an every other year trip for us. Some of the most fun fishing northern, walleyes & small mouth. So peaceful and where we go we're the only cabin on the lake with no outside access. Just beautiful. I wish our trip was a little later in the year for northern lights, but I enjoy it regardless

Cosmetic. Added stickers to tailgate and nerf bar. View attachment 36681View attachment 36682
Lookin great! Same as mine. I swear i am almost done when the amber vent lights come tomorrow but i am so curious as to how some blacked out/smoked tail lights would look. Thankfully i dont have the cash right now to find out, lol!

Mine is purely cosmetic too…just some stickers for an extra couple 100hp lol

Etsy Tremor badge because I need constant reminder 😬 and a little WPS support!

What is double honk and Bambi mode and Lincoln mirror mode ?
Double honk is when you leave the engine running and get out with the keys and shut the door, just about the time you get around the front of the truck, it honks twice and you soil your pants 💩. It eliminates that. 😂

Bambi is the ability to have the brights on the same time as the fogs.

Lincoln is the mirrors fold in and out with shifting in/out of park from what I remember

So close to finished...until intercooler, muffler, and tune are more affordable to me. And close because vent lights are coming tomorrow.

Bad time of day for pics. Front shows bambi mode and if you look real close you can see the diffused leds hiding under hood. Didnt want in your face so i set them back a bit.

Rear pic- added the putco/ford rain-window guards and splash guards.

Interior pic shows tremor on wheel, woman over the starter, and you cant tell but matte screen protector. Also double honk delete and numbers on gauges.

Cheers!

Weirdly, mine came with the double honk disabled. I wonder if it left the factory that way, or if someone at the dealer changed it? I believe it was a demo for a while. Certainly glad to be without it!

So ironically while waiting for my daughter after her track meet, I was playing with the settings and discovered there is now an option in the vehicle settings for what looks like the double honk. Anyone else notice this? Maybe it was added in the last update?

I dig these. Does the color match the logo on the tailgate letters? The orange colors seem to change around the truck. Can you provide a link for both of these and how do you keep your nerf bars so clean?!?
The colors match extremely well in the rear (I've also noticed not all gold/orange are the same). The orange does have some sparkle and 3-D effect. They aren't exactly cheap but it would have bugged me if I cheaped out and didn't like them.

I just have a pressure washer . . . black truck is always dirty lol.

Not a definitive answer but here's what I know; My '21 F-150 came with the double honk, no way to disable it. My '23 Super Duty did not, so I never looked for a way to disable what wasn't there. I don't believe my '25 double honks but I could just be habitually avoiding the conditions needed to cause it like a beaten dog cringing from any upraised hand.
I will investigate my new truck and the menus to learn what I can learn and share the results.

Interesting.
I wonder if this is standard on the 2024 and newer or was it part of a Power Up update.
I’ll check on my 2023 later today so fingers crossed that it’s there.

Got some new wheels and tires: Fuel Rebel (overdone, I know, but I love the look of 'em) 20x9 1mm offset. Falken Wildpeak AT4s, 35x11.5. With the autospring 2.5" level there was a decent amount of rub, trimmed liner and a little plastic and needed to apply a 4 lb hammer to the rear crash bars. Also, didn't need to but used the screwdriver trick on the front crash bars.

Confirming that the Key Detection Alert aka "double honk" is a menu option under Vehicle Settings.
My 2025 was bought new about 6 weeks ago and has not received a software update to this point. YMMV but worth looking to see if it's in the menu for anyone seeking to shut it off.

Got BC 1.4 installed by someone local using the gen14 f150 forums thread info.

Its a lot better than 1.0 that came with my 2022, it's just as good as my 2024 mach e including the hands free lane change. Need to do a little calibration in forscan because it came from a platinum not a tremor, but no big deal.

Overall super worth it, was tired of waiting and hoping Ford would release an OTA. It's a shame that the stuff is there and Ford doesn't get it right with the OTA.

Have you used it in stop & go traffic? I did just days before my trail period ended and I thought that was really cool. Never had to do a thing. It would stop, then creep forward and stop again keeping pace with the car in front of me for like 30mins. I could see it being very useful if you have to drive in that kind of traffic every day.

Nice! Still hoping it randomly shows up for me. Do you know what that light is flashing top right of the radio? I see it on mine but have never seen it flash, at least not with the naked eye. I assume its some sort of IR thing, just not sure what it's used for.

My Blue Cruise has expired and I'm debating on purchasing it. I don't drive on the freeway very much so it wouldn't get much use, but it is nice when I do...

There are two IR cameras, one in the A pillar and one above the radio watching your eye movement.

Would love to get the details on how to get this update, pose do share.
