What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Damn. Yeah. Definitely gotta put the pucks back in. I don't know why no one makes a pre built coilover that has enough length and lift.
Did you try adjusting them? I would crank them down 4 or 5 turns before doing anything else first. They might not have been adjusted correctly right out of the box, my fox 2.5 passenger side was set .5” higher than the driver side. Just a thought.

They're already at max. They shipped from factory at max. They aren't high enough.

Spent time out on some dunes and broke in the 8112’s and 8100 rears (non-DSA) finally. Holy hell are they a different world. They really mean it when they say bottomless. I need to get 35’s and maybe look into deavers for just some better float on the ruts but so happy with them. A couple light jumps and an accidental drop and didn’t once at all have to worry. Astounding

A little trip of about 3250 Miles, cruising from IL to FL and then back up the east coast.

Nearly at 10k on the odometer since May now - and I have to say that the highway demeanor is actually pretty solid. Drove +/- 2 mph around the speed limit and averaged nearly 22mpg on the first half of the trip.

Blue Cruise was a nice feature to have, but for some reason Ohio/Indiana roads had it wanting to cycle between active and inactive.

Lesson learned - I need a sunshade and some tint all around as some of the plastic on the doors started to loosen up/warp with the sun (near window switches/door handles)

Added the raptor steering wheel. I think it has a little larger diameter makes steering easier with big tires. My 24 402A didn’t have the paddle shifters prewired so I’m waiting on a wiring harness.

Added the DatinFab bed rack for the Softopper.

How was the install?

Regarding the Blue Cruise, Ford uses mapping done by HERE Technologies and some locations just are not mapped. Here in suburbs of Detroit the Blue Cruise will deactivate going under an underpass or certain parts of the freeway. There is a Ford Map online that shows all of the Blue Cruise mapping and you can plan your trip around it as well.

As easy as it gets. The instructions are 6 steps. Take off the airbag 2 clips, then the steering wheel 1 bolt, then swap the controls 2 screws and put it back on. I swapped the controls as one piece to avoid the raptor badging.

awesome, good to know. I ordered one this past week.

Replaced the air filter before torture testing her going into Death Valley from the west side while towing ~7800 lbs. Will never do that again.

Went through a tree the day before 😂

Catch can is working well!

I got my spray in Bed liner. I used the Ford dealer. They use Toff. Looks good but next time will use Rhino or Line x. Weather tech HP liners front and rear.

😎….Now that’s what I call “Ford Tough”.
Crashing through a tree when the road was blocked so everyone else can get through and it didn’t receive a single scratch.

Well the suspension is done for now. Eibach Pro Truck 2R is on.... 1" level pucks BACK in (physically they're 1/2 thick) and the truck now sits at 40.5 F / 42 R and drives and feels good. Plenty of control arm clearance with the Eibachs being a tighter coil. Ball joint angle isn't horrible. Control arm angle isn't horrible. Able to be perfectly aligned with no other mods required. Rides really not much different than stock except less wallowy, and looks cooler. These tremors are a bitch to get level. Good luck if you're trying to go all the way up!! Pics when I can.

It does make me want 35s now tho.... But it won't fit in my garage anymore so that's a NO

So now that my suspension is Gucci.... Exhaust Borla S type? Ford Performance tune? F150leds vent lights? Something else? What now?!

I am waiting to pull the trigger on the Borla S Type as well. My resonator makes a horrible chatter when starting cold and goes away after a minute or two when warmed up. I have considered a resonator delete as a cheaper fix but I really like the Borla. I would like to hear it in person though...

I just worry my old man ears would get mad if it's loud while at light idle / normal driving / highway cruise. I want loud when I step on the fun lever, but quiet otherwise.

Did you go with an OEM raptor wheel (circle) or the aftermarket D shape styles?
