- 22 401A Tremor
Did any Tremors come with paddle shifters?Added the raptor steering wheel. I think it has a little larger diameter makes steering easier with big tires. My 24 402A didn’t have the paddle shifters prewired so I’m waiting on a wiring harness.
Only the raptors, the rest of us have to add them.Did any Tremors come with paddle shifters?
So not a Tremor.Only the raptors, the rest of us have to add them.
That is correct. The f150 tremor had not yet come stock in any trim level with paddle shifters. We do have manual mode which is useful for manual shiftingSo not a Tremor.
I’ll add that to the list of things I didn’t get on my 24But some Tremors are pre-wired for them (mine)
Yeah I know for a lot of the truck it's the same wiring harness just whether or not an accessory is actually plugged into it.... Will be curious if one can make them actually work thoBut some Tremors are pre-wired for them (mine)

Nice.Make the paddle shifters work? They do if it’s wired for them. I have the Raptor wheel with functioning paddle shifters.
One thing I have noticed with the 3.5 is that it seems the waste gates are fully open on cold start and then close around 10-15 seconds later. Probably timed for oil pressure to build in the turbos. It is a drastic difference in sound without much difference in RPM. With my Borla ATAK my wife complains about how loud my truck is in the morning when I start it up but doesn’t hear the truck when I come home.I just worry my old man ears would get mad if it's loud while at light idle / normal driving / highway cruise. I want loud when I step on the fun lever, but quiet otherwise.
How do you like the Borla ATAK for the 3.5? I am curious how much louder it is compared to the S-Type. The youtube videos is really difficult to distinguish between loudness and becomes more of a tone comparison between the two. Is your ATAK sytem more like the Harley Davidson rolling through the church parking lot and getting everyone's attention, or is it only loud when you really hit the skinny pedal? Drone at HW speeds is a big concern for me but more than anything, I want a system that is like a gentlemen's presence.. strong, confident, and composed when passing by but also delivers a sinister grin when you punch it.One thing I have noticed with the 3.5 is that it seems the waste gates are fully open on cold start and then close around 10-15 seconds later. Nice.
Do you use said paddle shifters a lot?
I bet said down and up shifting would sound cool on a Coyote equipped TREMOR with a Corsa or Borla exhaust system.
Type S once warm is only a little louder than stock at idle. It's not obnoxious one bitI just worry my old man ears would get mad if it's loud while at light idle / normal driving / highway cruise. I want loud when I step on the fun lever, but quiet otherwise.
I didn't like the ATAK on my last truck, which was also a 3.5. I found it a little ricey at WOT. Sounds like Type-S is for you. Loud when you want, but classy when you want too.How do you like the Borla ATAK for the 3.5? I am curious how much louder it is compared to the S-Type. To me the ATAK sounds "thin" and "raspy". The vids I've seen of S-Type are without a doubt more composedHow do you like the Borla ATAK for the 3.5?
