What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

For me the whole point was to get the stripe. I like being able to see where the wheel is in my peripheral because I lose track of it.

The one I bought from the Ford Performance came with the original orange color. But it’s nowhere near a match to Electric Spice and honestly almost looks red in certain light. I should have just gotten the 2024 one because now they’re black. Ended up painting mine with leather paint
Hmmm, I didn’t know that the 2024 version was black.
I’d definitely prefer that over any other color.

This is interesting.
I didn’t know said kit was available from Ford to be installed by the selling dealer.
I wonder if they’ll install it on a non-Raptor F150 with or without the Raptor steering wheel.

I just wished the steering wheel had an orange stripe versus red. Looking good.
So there is a company that sells an orange 3m tape sized for your steering wheel that might fit the width of the red stripe. It was cheap and I haven't added it to my stock Tremor steering wheel but that might be a solution for you. I liked the idea of a center stripe on the wheel without breaking the bank for a Raptor replacement.

Got an oil change and tire rotation done. It's been a whole 38 days since the last one 🤣

I had them check the trans fluid and they found it was about a quart low, either from a leak or coming out of a vent, caused by being overfilled or overheating. I'll deal with that when we get back home.

Got a decent handwash done. Interior is still needing some love (also when we get home).

Traveling about 700 miles this weekend heading back east.

Same! Went to the dealer for the first oil change since owning the truck. Had them rotate the tires. They told me a few of the lugnuts were starting to swell and it might be a good idea to start looking at a solid lugnut replacement before the OEM ones split. No loss of oil even at 40,000 Miles. Oh.. and the Oil Catch Can I put on about a 1,000 miles ago (last month) was hard at work. Square Tow Hooks going on tomorrow. Video to follow

I removed the bedside decals this weekend after 2.5 years of ownership. I like them off way more than i thought.
Just did the same recently on my 2023. And completely agree. Why I didn’t do it sooner is beyond me.

Swore at the driver side window for not staying closed after three trips to the dealer for the same bounce-back BS. I've pretty much resolved myself to the fact that it is not fixable. I've since disabled the auto up feature but if I hold the switch in the up position too long it still bounces back EVERY flipping time. I've cleaned and lubed the window tracks with no change in behavior. Also have the exact same TPMS issue that I thought was resolved six months ago. Truck only has 19k miles. I've come to the conclusion that Ford has regressed terribly when it comes to electronic controls and I'm about as loyal to Ford as you can get. Not impressed...

That sucks! Have you tried taking it to a different dealer?

Put 35 x 12.5 KO3's on. I have never run 35's before. Honestly I wanted 34's or even just wider 33's. But the performance hit i was expecting isn't really there, it rides nice, tons of clearance for shenanigans, and it looks badass. Mileage did drop a bit but not terrible.

They rub on the skid plate so that is currently off for some trimming. Honestly it kinda looks mean without the skid plate.
