What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

S&B cold air intake, Cobb coolant tank cover, and adjusted the fog lights to not point down 8 inches from the bumper.
Good morning,
Did the CAI help the proformance or just make the engine sound better?
Thanks!

So there is a company that sells an orange 3m tape sized for your steering wheel that might fit the width of the red stripe. It was cheap and I haven't added it to my stock Tremor steering wheel but that might be a solution for you. I liked the idea of a center stripe on the wheel without breaking the bank for a Raptor replacement.
Did you get this installed? thoughts?

New tires and lift (made it to 50k on my grabbers but my fronts were in bad shape):
Nitto Recon Grappler 285/70/18 (33.7 ish)
Bilstein 6112 +1.5" in the front
Bilstein 5100 rear

So far its exactly what i wanted - close enough to level with the naked eye and no poke. Wet performance on the Nitto's has not been tested (which reviews indicate wet is not great) but i have these at 40 PSI and they are super quiet and handle great in dry conditions.

Added the Awesome Upfitter Wire Harness from CBlightingdesigns. Thanks Cblaxx19 for what you do- Now hurry up and get some more of those Grill Lights made up- I would love to get a video up on that to help promote your products. For those interested, I posted a quick install video on the Ol' Youtubes.....

Finally got around to having Ford put a new battery in under warranty

When Ford introduced the modular bumper to the Tremor, it was so hard to look at the original tow hooks on my 2021. SO....I ditched the 2021 Puny Tow Hooks and added the much more appealing Square Hooks from the 2024+ models. I did a little trimming to the insert and had no troubles making them work with larger tow hooks. Took maybe 15 minutes and BAM! Instant Upgrade. I know there was nothing wrong with the originals and this may be viewed as a waste of money/time but I am much more happy with how my truck looks.

Lmao. Thanks.
That’s the exact reason I did it. I couldn’t unsee it!

Well, to my surprise on my way to lunch today, they're on properly (I think)...Looks like maybe on 24+ had issues? View attachment 41663
No, from what I read the ford stamp should be in the front. Once they are flipped you’ll notice more surface area to step when entering the back seats. Also the taper flows better on the front side. It’s personal preference at the end of the day.

It took 20 minutes to swap them. 3 nuts on the front and 3 on the rear.

OH, I think I am mistaken...I see what you're saying...TY

Well I did the switch. And tweaked my back in the process. Wife comes out and says, " you are switching the running boards that you read about on the fourm" 😅
