🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Put a set of Wildpeak 35x11.50s on the truck this morning. Very nice ride. Better than expected. Somehow they absorb more road chatter -- while simultaneously feeling more stable in corners than the Grabbers.
Honestly, if I'd known they would fit so well at stock height, I might have added a spacer instead of ordering new suspension (which is still backordered for a month).
I did have to take a big adjustable wrench and bend the front skid plate in about 1/4" on the driver side to eliminate a small rub.

Looks bad ass. Have you had an issues with rubbing besides the skid plate while you drive around?

Update: I falsely accused DT! After going back and looking at photos of my wheels from yesterday, the scuffs are already there. They either happened in the last couple of months, or I missed them when taking delivery.

No, I loosened the crash bar bolts and found a little more clearance, so at full lock I've still got about 1/2" at all points. It might be really close to the fender liner, but it's not making any noise.
When it cools off, I'll go full lock and run the tire up against some wheel chocks to see how close it gets under control arm bushing deflection.

They're actually not thin at all, which makes it worse. The shop foreman who runs the autobody shop was shocked how it crushed and said they are pretty heavy, and rigid, steel. He told me it must have been a decent hit. It was, being the truck that hit me was a 5500 series. I confirmed that.

On that note, don't get hit in your new Tremor. I am being told the truck just went into the shop this morning to begin repairs. It took them almost two weeks to get all the parts. I hated the idea of it sitting on their lot that long but wanted it there so they can get right on fixing it when the parts did come. The good news is they said once it goes in, it should take a week or less.

My insurance assigned a legit physical adjuster locally. The guy doesn't call, doesn't email, he literally visits the shop and talks to them in person. Then he calls me, to give me updates. Been really happy with him so far. He told me the shop is one of the rare, on-site, dealer autobody shops and they do very top quality work. According to him, he's dealt with them for multiple vehicles, mostly Ford, and hasn't had one client unhappy with the vehicle when it's done. He also said if anything is not to my liking, it will be addressed.

In a week or so, I should finally have her back.

Those shops...Mavis, Discount, ETD, can be rough. You might be able to wet sand and polish that out though. Not that you should have to do that in the first place...

I went back over there and showed the damage. They said "oh yeah my tech noticed that when we started but we didn't say anything".
Then I remembered I had photographed the wheels last night, and thought I had them busted for sure. Imagine my embarrassment when I zoomed in and saw the scratch already there. I apologized of course.

Got this done last week. X4TS. I am planning to pair this with the TRUKD 12.5" height rack, and a Roam Vagabond 2.0 on top. I've 14 campouts planned for the next 12 months.

Looks awesome! I was so torn between this and the MX4. Ended up with MX4 because of reviews that said brutal heat and sun of the deep South was too much for the vinyl cover. San Diego is much more comfortable, from what I hear.
