Are the front tow hooks easy to unbolt?

Love the articulation on these trucks, they are perfect for ranch work. iPhone images don’t do justice to how uneven the terrain is, but look at the tires. They tell all, my truck is a stock Tremor. Nickname my buddies gave it is Tumor. Want to give this truck to my Pops so he can check the fence lines without having to jump on the tractor that has no cab. (Texas heat makes it a bitch to be on a tractor haha) Very uneven terrain on the ranch and this truck just makes it smooth, no path is unconquerable. God Bless everyone!

Skid plate has spacer for the rear holes,so it will fall out as you’re taking out the skid plate. Not a big deal, just be aware.I also painted the rear tow loops and did not remove those as they are welded to hitch assy.Just masked everything.

Yeah that spacer will knock you out lol. It’s hefty for its size and when I took mine plate off it fell out of nowhere and scared the 💩 out of me 🤣

Now THAT's how you use a Tremor! Real work! Very cool report

Installed KustomFX switch assembly in headliner of my 2023 tremor. I’m adding lots of accessories and needed special switch’s to achieve my goal. All of my new lights can switch from white to amber. I also have a pivoting light bar.

Once I got the switches in from KustomFX I used colored bulb sleeves to make them match the color of the factory uplifter switches. I will be able to switch my aftermarket DRL’s from white to amber.

If anyone has installed a dash cam (I'm installing Viofo A329S) and used the hard wire kit with fuse taps what fuses did you tap into?
One for constant power and one foe accessory. Looking for the best choices.

passenger footwell - fuse2 for ACC and fuse4 for battery iirc. some folks use one of the footwell upfitters i think but i wanted to leave mine open for other shenanigans.

I had used fuse 32 for 12v and 36 for ignition.

Be very careful with the ground bolt there. It's aluminum. It lasted a few times for me installing and uninstalling the hardwire kit ground (electrical gremlins i didn't want the dealer to point to the fuse taps on). It snapped the last time I went to use it.

I've been using the obd power supply from Wolfbox but the charging profile of our trucks suck and it causes it to turn off (too low of voltage from the alternator it thinks the truck is off). Workaround is to turn your headlights on, go into tow haul mode, or, what I haven't done yet, change the state of charge from 80 to a higher value in Forscan.

If the forscan trick doesnt work (or is a bad idea on AGM batteries) I'm going to run a hardiwre kit, without the fuse taps, to the battery with an inline fuse and the ignition signal to auxiliary 6, the same switch I'm using to be the ignition signal for my air bag controller. Hole in the cab under the passenger floorboard for passing the wire through.

FYI …..If you have a 2025 or newer F150, the passenger footwell fuse box is now sealed so you’re going to have to crack it open.

Yikes! Guess they don't like DIYers? Or maybe want evidence something's been accessed.

I guess this fits with their promise of less parts lol

I had it open yesterday and to tell the truth the carpet was more in the way than anything.
It didn't seem like I had to crack it open.
I was looking at taping into fuse 30 for acc and 3 for always on. 30 is USB charging and 3 is wireless charger.
Do those sound like safe choices?

So, what if you need to replace a blown fuse? I can't see Ford sealing it totally shut. They know most people are not going back to the dealer to change a fuse unless it's got a full warranty. Do it yourselfers out of warranty will pry it open. LOL.....

You hit it right on the head.
They want you to take it back to the dealer but who knows.
Starting at the 4:37 mark in the video, you can see what I mean when I said that it’s sealed.

I hope this helps you guys out.

Ok I see what your saying, might be screwed because I doubt I'll strip wires like he did.
Guess I'll just use the Donger through the rear view mirror and not have the parking mode like I hoped.
If I did do the fuse taps then the fuse box cover would really pinch the wires and I'm not sure that's a good idea.
Thanks for that video.
