What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

HD or SE? Can you get some more angles? This is exactly what I'm going for on my Atlas Blue (+cleats, minus rails for now); only thing holding me back is how smooth the Retrax looks.

Probably the the kind of "what did you do" you'd expect but look what I did!

Someone pulled out in front of me while i was doing 60, I slammed on the brakes and swerved to avoid them but still hit someone further down in the left turn lane at about 30mph. Fortunately the curb slowed me enough to keep me from crossing full over into oncoming traffic.
My biggest fear by far. My 2012 went 11 years without any accidents (defensive driving from 25 years of MC riding in LA), now with a truck as expensive as my first house, I am paranoid. All of the digital distractions don't help.

Got rid of the double honk, added bambi mode, and Lincoln mirror mode using Forscan.
Totally new to Tremor.( It isn't even here yet) What is Lincoln mirror mode please?

I've seen the explanation somewhere for this in the past, but I am not 100% I recall what changes. I don't have my truck yet, so I can't test how the mirrors operate on it. However, I know the Lincolns fold when you lock the doors and do not unfold until you start the vehicle again. I think the Ford mirrors unfold when you open the door. If I am wrong, I know someone else will post up...

Finally had everything come in and had time to install.

Yakima Overhaul bed rack with sidebars for Retrax pro xr. Builtright panels and bags installed. My medic first aid kit (used same day for for my daughters knee scrapes). Grabbed some tools to live in the truck. Should be able to install one more level of racks for the snowboards or basket carrier.

Also took it off-roading in Folsom. Truck climbed rutted and loose hills in normal without skipping a beat. Very impressive.

Over the thanksgiving week I:
-Put on a screen protector
-Put in Husky floor mats
-Installed OEM rear wheel well liners I got using FordPass points
-Installed black Gorilla lug nuts. I wanted to go with McGard spline drive but ordered a test set and they stuck out too much so I went with the short Gorilla OEM style black nuts with a Gorilla spline locknut on each wheel. They look good.

More things happening this week so will update when they do.

Made a pivot on my tonneau plans and ordered a BAK Revolver X4s instead of the Diamondback HD I had originally planned. The X4s fits my use case much better, has good reviews, and came out to under $900 shipped.

Also got the parts to add the lighted cupholders, and the media and glove box lighting.

Is there a write-up for adding the lighting?
