What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Installed the Builtright accessory rail, Bak X4s, and RokBlokz (standard size black); happier with the tonneau than I expected (originally set on a DB HD) as the fit was perfect and I've already needed the full bed; was unsure of the RokBlokz at first, but they're growing on me, have them adjusted all the way inboard to be a bit more discrete.

Where did you pick up the Bak X4s from? I’m looking at putting a cover on mine for a trip next summer and am definitely leaning towards the X4s at this point.

If you do this well on this stuff, I need to make a trip to see the Christmas lights on your house!!
They're amazingly mediocre 😆 I only do well with instructions (former engineer).
With all Ford Parts? If so were they easy to get? Thanks
@Escape Hatch

Yes sir, at the least the lights themselves; someone (JHForman812) over on the other forum makes 2 harnesses to plug and play. I ordered the following -

Varsity Ford (several dealers had similar pricing) - They were in stock last week and shipped from a Ford warehouse here in Ohio.

Harnesses were $80 shipped from JHForman812. Other than that, I used a slim metal pry tool to get up the trim, and also a metal trim removal tool to remove some of the christmas tree fasteners under the glove box; if you've disassembled any vehicle interiors, there will be no surprises.

Changed the oil.
Remembered to plan to kick all Ford engineers in the nuts.
Printed a standoff for the light bar so I don't sound like a 500 pounder inbound.

Installed the Rhino rack system on my Retrax cover with the ski rack- Worked out great. Gonna try and use the ski rack as a rod holder in summer (At least that’s what I told my wife)🤭

$1k to hold a fishing rod.. Sounds legit, to me.

Over the thanksgiving week I:
-Put on a screen protector
-Put in Husky floor mats
-Installed OEM rear wheel well liners I got using FordPass points
-Installed black Gorilla lug nuts. I wanted to go with McGard spline drive but ordered a test set and they stuck out too much so I went with the short Gorilla OEM style black nuts with a Gorilla spline locknut on each wheel. They look good.

More things happening this week so will update when they do.
How much did your Ford Pass points cover in $?

I ordered a Fumoto drain valve cuz I have some RCI skids coming. I admit I didn’t look too hard at how beneficial or not the valve would be but RCI recommends it so you don’t have to remove the skid to drain the oil.
We’ll see.

I swapped it out, last night. I ordered the one with the extra nipple and am digging through my 3/8" hoses to find the right material to keep it reachable from the access port. Overall, it's pretty slick. There is another type that has a banjo fitting so you can point it in the direction of your choice. Now back to planning how I am going to kick every Ford engineer in the balls for that terrible filter placement.

F107sx is the one I ordered - the one you can rotate.

I have all the parts for mine. The only thing I’m missing is time.

Thanks,
Got everything on order, even the harness. It will be a welcome upgrade I didn't think I would miss, but do.

What made you decide to get the Fumoto over the Ronin?

I ordered some wheels and tires! I've got lots to do after I get my truck! Hopefully I'll have everything installed and completed in the next couple of weeks. It's such a busy time of year though, so who knows..?

Here's my list so far:
Window tint - after delivery of course
Leveling Kit - TBD and after delivery
KMC Dirty Harry wheels and 315/70/17 BFGs
Diamondback HD cover
Stubby Antenna
Cobb Coolant Cover
CVF Titan Intercooler
Whipple Intake

I actually think that's all I plan to do for the time being. We'll see what else you jerks post up that I then suddenly "need"... :ROFLMAO:

Two things: Rhino bed liner and OEM mudflaps.

Got rid of the double honk, added bambi mode, and Lincoln mirror mode using Forscan.
When you were in FORscan disabling double honk, what did the editable part of this string look like: 726-41-02? The video I watched expected it to look like: 0001 0001 0173 where you change the first 1 to a 0, but mine was 2000 0000 0191 instead, so now I'm not sure which digit to edit. I have a 2022 401A Tremor.

This is the video:

I couldn't ask on the FORscan forums because you need to pay for the year long license to sign up now.
