What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

I would like to get a final feel for adding a catch can or not. 2022 3.5L. Thoughts? anyone who has it experience any issues/advantages/disadvantages, etc ?
Would like to understand how well the PCV works on these trucks, that would help decided for me. It's not like I am going to track this truck.

Whipple stage 1 installed. Haven’t driven it enough to give my full thoughts yet.

Installed my Whipple CAI. I'm not sure if the truck makes more power, but it's definitely more responsive and makes a little more sound - you can definitely hear the turbos more.

I'll also be a lot happier with the look when and if my COBB coolant cover ever shows up...

I did something bad today. I managed to knock over a piece of furniture and put a dent in the front passenger door. It's very small right under the glass just below the crease. That really made my day.

Sorry bro, that's frustrating. Time for PDR!

At least your buddy didn't swing the door open into a brick wall as he was getting into the truck when it was about 36 hours old.

Tomorrow will be 3 weeks that I've owned the truck. I was finally able to get a couple things done with week:
  1. Replaced factory carpet mats with Husky X-act Contour front and rear
  2. Husky Wheel Well Liners
  3. Spigen Screen Protector
  4. Gorilla Black Wheel Locks
  5. With OBDLink EX and FORScan, I made the following changes:
    1. Double Horn Honk Disable
    2. Bambi Mode
    3. Digital Temps on Cluster
    4. Disable Seat belt Minder
    5. Disable Fake Engine Noise
    6. Glare Free Menu - Although I am not sure if I will keep this or not. I like the transition better than the auto high, but headlights are very sensitive to steering wheel input.
    7. DRL Brightness - Been playing with this. 50% is too bright for me, 25% doesn't look much brighter that the 10% standard setting. If I could find a posting of a setting in between, that might be the sweet spot for me.
  6. I have an OBDLink MX+ that I used to make changes to my Ram, been playing with the app to find PIDs for monitoring
  7. I also finally hit 1000 miles on the way to work during the week.

6. Glare free menu... Do you mean the glare free headlights setting? Does that option turn the bending headlights off? I'm confused on what part you don't like on the glare free. I haven't gone through this yet but plan to soon.
7. DRL brightness.. stock when driving they seem pretty damn bright to me, they are only set at 10%? I'm surprised they can get much brighter? When I unlock my truck they seem pretty dim but that's about it.

Yes, I meant the glare free headlights in lieu of the auto high beams. I have the 402a, so I already had the bending headlights but now they seem extra sensitive. Before, I only noticed them bend when in a full turn like a side road or intersection. Now, they move with the slightest movement of the steering wheel. Sometimes I have noticed going around a curve the lights bend so much that I loose light on the outside of the curve because they shift to the inside of the curve. Might just be me obsessing over it trying to notice the differences.

For the DRLs, its listed on the common mods tab and I found a post talking about them on another forum. I was curious so wanted to give it a try. My truck was set at "0A", which according to that post is only 10%. I think most people who want a brighter DRL are after the brightness that the Super Duty's are rocking.
