2025 Tremors

Some of the last few posts above this one look a little odd, as if they are from earlier model years or pre production of some sort.
@Wangchung83 's post shows a photo with the power adjust steering column which indeed appears to be gone for 25.

There was a YT look over of a '25 402A production truck posted yesterday, here's a link and a screen shot showing the power adjust is indeed gone.
You can get a better look at the interior by scrolling through the vid for interior shots.

The pics I posted came from one of the guys that had a platinum delivered to them the other day. Apparently everyone had switches moved but have no idea about the power adjust steering wheel. The platinum kept it but maybe gone for tremor?

So is it a manual adjust now?
Sure looks like it, and the truck in the video is a 402A.
I was able to download a Monroney for mine and the way the interior features are listed look straight up sneaky to me.

PEDALS - POWER ADJUSTABLE
TILT/TELESCOPE STR COLUMN

An easy thing to miss if one assumes it's like trucks of the past.

That is entirely possible. They definitely moved some switches around.

Every year something gets deleted and the prices keep going up. I have a '23 and had to add my heated steering wheel, interior lights, and digital temp read out knobs. Wishing I had blue cruise that was deleted from me. But as far as the 21-23 vs 24+ models, I definitely like the grill better on the 24+ and the fact it has HUD, but everything else I'm so so happy I got a '23 (or maybe wishing I got a '22 or even '21 haha).

The door keypad is one of the biggest reasons I keep sticking with Ford. If they make it more difficult/pricier to get moving forward, it'll definitely open my options up to other makers. I use that thing all of the time. Not saying it'll make me move on, but one less advantage for Ford for sure.
Agree. The 24 and 25s are far worse values. A base raptor is a better buy now.

Well, hold on. I have a 24. It has a heated steering wheel, interior lights, door key pad, etc. Yeah, it doesn't have projector head lights but it does have the modular bumper and pro access tailgate. It also has cornering lights that come on and light up the side you're turning the steering wheel to. Personally, having driven a vehicle with moving headlights, I like the cornering lights better. Saying it's a far worse value seems a pretty big stretch.

Yeah I agree. Don’t forget the HUD and BC as well. I like the Lariat & up headlights and DRL better but by no means am I downing the headlights I got.

I gotta think they make these changes because of parts constraints otherwise it makes no sense
An auto blog I follow did a good analysis of why manufacturers do this, and it largely isn’t about parts constraints, but it really is about cost. Even a few cents a part. This is combined with the first version of a new vehicle is the one that gets tested by all the reviewers, so they start high to get positive reviews and typically as years go on the look to shave cost and even features because it’s still the same generation as the one that had it all. It’s not just Ford, the article I’m referring to was on BMW actually.

Which is frustrating as a buyer because on the one hand getting the first version of a new generation can come with risk on some of the bigger items such as mechanical things and QC. But if you wait til the last version of the generation where they have all the bugs sorted out they often don’t have the same features and in many cases perceived quality due to cheapening of things that could be cheapened.

If the article sounds interesting to folks I can dig up the link.

Found it, it’s an interesting and thorough read:

OMG I just priced out a 2025 F150 with the hi level package, moon roof and winch! I was shocked with V8 gas engines, I can get a F250 Tremor with the winch for less.

I do wish mine had the dynamic headlights like the Lariats and up, however I like the grill and bumper of the 402a better than the previous years. I don’t have anything to compare the new led headlights to but they seem really good still.
I’m not sure if you’re interested but there’s a member on here who’s going to try / attempt to install the Dynamic LED headlights on his 2024 TREMOR.
I don’t remember his name or if he was successful but on his last posting, he said that he had all of the parts.

All 24 and up F150’s and I believe all 21-23 TREMORS with LED “fog lights” starting with the STX and up trim level have the same cornering lights.

My 2023 fogs light up when cornering at slow speed.

To be clear, I wasn't trying to imply this was a new feature on the 24's. It was in relation to the bending headlights. It is pretty cool though, first vehicle I've had it on.

Has anyone else seen the keypads that are dealer installed? You're not gonna be happy!

I use the door keypad all the time because I dont carry a key while running. I open with the keypad and lock with my apple watch.
It doesn't let you open with the watch?

I believe the new one is stuck on with double sided tape and is battery operated, and obviously the battery can run out.
And dealerships will probably charge you $1,000 for it to be “installed”.

Just watched the video. No keypad. The black speakers look bad IMO. And the buttons (or lack thereof) above the NAV screen looks so freaking bad. What in god’s name are they thinking with these changes?

Also, as much as I love the honeycomb grill change from 24, I absolutely hate the amber DLRs change. Just a personal preference. Love the ones on the 21-23. My favorite DLRs of any truck on the road.
