2025 Tremors

….. I wonder how long it’ll be before someone attempts to install the normal / usual key pad on their 2025 F150 instead of having the dealer install the new version that definitely looks like an afterthought.

More than likely FORScan will be required.

I can’t remember where I heard about this but I believe installation will be around $500.00

Also, as much as I love the honeycomb grill change from 24, I absolutely hate the amber DLRs change. Just a personal preference. Love the ones on the 21-23. My favorite DLRs of any truck on the road.

I agree. I love the new grill more than the previous grill but the C-style DRLs were way better looking. I almost think it’s why the 24-25 Tremor lost the dynamic headlights. With the orange bar across the grill it makes perfect sense to use the headlights/DRLs they used to make them match the Tremor theme.

On a side note, when the HUD boots up on start, it goes through its Ford theme but shows the new dynamic headlights with the right angle DRLs. Guess the forgot that small detail on the Tremor.

Just watched the video. No keypad. The black speakers look bad IMO. And the buttons (or lack thereof) above the NAV screen looks so freaking bad. What in god’s name are they thinking with these changes?

We shouldn’t kid ourselves that profits aren't always going to be a consideration in business…and that doesn’t mean it is bad, evil, or that someone is being sneaky about it. And Ford certainly isn’t unique here.

Every model year there are decisions around how to keep the cost/price down to be competitive and attractive to your customers, how to pack a truck with features so that it will be superior to the competition, and how to make enough money for your investors. Again, that’s normal in business, and also is a key part of capitalism.

I have two features on my 22 lost due to supply constraints versus 21, Auto Start Stop and parking assist. Blessed to not have Auto Start Stop, as for parking assist, the button and sensors are there, I wonder what it would take to make it work.

A-S-S is a one click mod in forscan although it would be nice not to have a button for it. I couldnt live without parking assist. My truck gets backed into a garage.

'22 had minimal deletes relative to '21 for the Tremor. The big changes that rustled people's jimmies started with removal of Multi-Contour seats on Platinum and up. There was threat of removal of BlueCruise, but it never actually happened.

I added back Active Park Assist (APA) soon after I got the truck. You need a '21 IPMA programmed correctly, and certain ForScan changes.

The '22+ IPMA (started mid-'22 if I remember right) is missing 2 chips to utilize the side-firing proximity sensors. The APA itself is pretty useless IMO, it does also include Trailer Hitch Assist, which is a nice party trick, but also not useful if you have any basic skills backing up to connect to a trailer. Another benefit is you can use all 12 proximity sensors (and see them on the screen), whereas only 8 are otherwise used on '22+.

APA is hands free parallel/perpendicular parking, not the parking sensors themselves; no [mid] '22+ F150 has it from the factory.

The button on 2024's activates the map on the screen to find parking lots.
I read on another forum that they stopped the APA because data show no one used it. (remember big brother Ford is watching everything you do on the new trucks.)

Saw a YouTube review of the 2025 Tremor and it’s odd that it is losing and changing some stuff. First, it’s losing the door keypad (now dealer installed option). Then I noticed it lost the power adjusting steering wheel, got black speaker covers, moved camera, traction control, and hazards to the radio cluster of buttons, and shutters to the front bumper opening.

I don’t think I care for those changes and I’m glad I got the 24 model, for at the very least the door keypad.

I haven't taken delivery of my new '25 yet, but I looked at the window sticker for our '24 and compared the standard options with my '25 and they are identical.

I noted that exact same wording on the Monroney for my truck (which is at Granger, now making final arrangements) and once alerted by this thread, noted that the words "power adjustable" do not appear next to the words "TILT/TELESCOPE STR COLUMN"
I too will report my findings once I have acquired my truck. Looks like I will finish my journey right around the end of January.

Agree. The 24 and 25s are far worse values. A base raptor is a better buy now.

Add on the price increase and yes, value prop isn’t there like it used to be.

This is simply a double sided tape stick on key pad. You likely wont be able to retrofit the older style key pad as it was wired, and I am betting the wires to connect it to are not present anymore.

There's a winch an option for F 150 Tremors? Does anyone know if Ford has OEM parts for installing a winch on the front of my so-far stock 2023 F150 Tremor?
