2025 Tremors

There's a winch an option for F 150 Tremors? Does anyone know if Ford has OEM parts for installing a winch on the front of my so-far stock 2023 F150 Tremor?
No. This is for the 24+ models with the modular front bumper. You would need to go aftermarket for a 21-23, and if you have the 3.5 engine you will need to do an aftercooler relocation.

Wishing I had blue cruise that was deleted from me.
I’ve got a 2024 401 package and Blue Cruise wasn’t standard, but it came with the 90 day free trial. I immediately began to enjoy it to my surprise. The minute the 90 days was up, and while I was driving, I got a message on the dash saying it was no longer functioning, and a simultaneous text asking if I wanted to renew. I’d previously heard some ridiculous cost, but this ad said $499 per year, so I had my passenger use my card and purchased it right then and within five minutes I could’ve been eating a ham sandwich with no hands. Well, you know what I mean. So I was just wondering if you have the option to purchase the blue cruise like I did?

I use the door keypad all the time because I dont carry a key while running. I open with the keypad and lock with my apple watch.
I lock with my keypad most of the time as well.

How come no one is mentioning that getting the the Warn Xeon 12S winch factory installed is a $9,220 option? Thats a $2k winch with a $7k install price.
They set the stage for a $100k Whippled and winched Tremor, ridiculous.

It’s the same as 2024. Yeah, it’s crazy 💰

I think it is a whole new piece of the modular bumper. It includes a new camera, sensors and a sort of bull bar

Personally I like the hidden winch style and that way my truck can still fit in my garage

Glad to hear that for you but the blue cruise sensors and all the other hardware for it were a complete deletion from the '23 models because of chip and/or part shortcomings

This is the $9,220 option? If you have to climb any ledges that is a terrible setup. I was picturing the hidden winch behind the bumper as the factory option. This pic makes me hate the modular bumper even more if that the only winch option for it.

This is simply a double sided tape stick on key pad. You likely wont be able to retrofit the older style key pad as it was wired, and I am betting the wires to connect it to are not present anymore.
Skip to the 8:55 mark which talks about this and the price.
$225.00 does sound a bit low for a total installation by a Ford dealer.

The keypad is only $125 (before discounts) from Ford Accessory and the install can be prepaid for $56 (may be regional), or likely an hour minimum otherwise (~$200ish). Ford deleted these from several other models in recent years and the install has been confirmed to generally take less than half hour (stick and program).

That being said, I have seen reports of dealers also quoting several hours for the stick-on keypad, so nothing really surprises me.

Definitely not worth it if the quoted cost on the video is true.

A-S-S is a one click mod in forscan although it would be nice not to have a button for it. I couldnt live without parking assist. My truck gets backed into a garage.
I also back the truck into the garage every day, and the best thing for that is laying down a long strip of black duct tape where the trailer hitch lines up. It really simplifies the backing, just line up the trailer hitch line with the duct tape.

I'm so torn between the Tremor or Lariat. Not really liking the looks of the halogen LED headlights. I'm sure they put out good light output, but I just don't understand why Ford put the halogens on this trim. I'd opt for the base trim. Not paying 11K for the higher trim with a bunch of stuff I really don't care about. I used the Ford build and price site to build a Lariat. The price of the base Tremor with spray in bed liner and a base Lariat with the FX4, black appearance package, and spray in bed liner are about the same in the upper 60's. Not to mention you get the really nice LED light bending projector headlights with the Lariat as a standard feature. Both would be in antimatter blue.

So, what about quality aftermarket headlights like Morimoto? From what I have researched there are none!!! Morimoto stops at 2023. They do have a nice LED tail light for the '24/'25 for the F150 on the lower trims which are still incandescent bulbs. The lower trim on the Tremor isn't LED, but Morimoto has some really nice smoke ones. I called Morimoto yesterday and had them pass my concern for aftermarket LED projector headlights to their R&D department. So, Do I get the Tremor base trim add the Morimoto LED rear tails and wait and hope they come out with a aftermarket LED projector headlight or just get the Lariat with LED projector headlights and tails which are standard? Decisions Decisions!!! Sorry for the long post. My first post too. I'll be keeping my 2007 flairside F150 too. It's got 215K miles and it's never missed a lick.

Hmm, you will of course get the bias opinion on a Tremor forum but it seems you already made up your mind. Appears you want affirmation the Tremor is the right decision and I agree with you. The Tremor has different knuckles and sits higher than the FX4. Not sure if we have more drive modes than the FX4. You seem to have found ways to make the Tremor work (headlights/taillights) for you, pull the trigger, you won't be sorry.

I went through somewhat the same dilemma about the headlights myself before I got mine. I finally came to the conclusion that the headlights were not that important in the grand scheme the truck overall for me. I do like the Lariat headlight/DRLs better but I like the Tremor grille and overall look better than the Lariat. And even though the 402 was expensive, it was essentially a Lariat package or similar options. To each their own.

The changes ford has made whereby it’s removed a lot of the tremor benefits reduces the value imo. The headlights are a big deal to me. Also, if you’re going to change tires/wheels and lift it (or are a spacer) then tremor again lessens in value. If you tow a fair amount, tremor not as good as lariat. But if you use truck offroad more than tow, then tremor has benefits.
I chose my 402a in part bc if was a better value than a 502a at the time.

Well, hold on. I have a 24. It has a heated steering wheel, interior lights, door key pad, etc. Yeah, it doesn't have projector head lights but it does have the modular bumper and pro access tailgate. It also has cornering lights that come on and light up the side you're turning the steering wheel to. Personally, having driven a vehicle with moving headlights, I like the cornering lights better. Saying it's a far worse value seems a pretty big stretch.
It's not a stretch at all. You are paying the same or more money, but not getting features the 21-23's have. The headlights alone are a big enough issue, not just that they bend, but the glare free high beams are amazing.
Heated steering wheel in some cases, door pad, pedals, now tilt.

Also the corner lights you speak of is just your fog light being turned on when you turn the wheel. The 21-23 has that too. Saying you light the corning lights better than the bending headlights is a little silly since the truck with the bending headlights has the cornering light too. If you run with your fog lights on, you won't notice an extra light coming on anymore.

I don't mean to sound rude, but the 24+ tremors simply aren't as good of a vue as the 21-23,and that's not even an opinion, it's a fact that can be backed up with numbers.

I was bummed when I realized the door keypad was only a dealer installed option on my 2025. I've had many Ford vehicles with it over the years and I always thought it was a real differentiator from other OEM's. I mean it would take the Ford maybe $10 to install this at the factory? But $500 from the dealer? OK, there is my pet peeve...
