402A Deliveries?

Yeah, I run Ops at my job. Definitely feel their pain. It's busy, but a good busy.
As antsy as I am, I am trusting them to process everything efficiently and quickly while maintaining the service lever they are known for. At this point I'll sit back for a couple of days and let them reach out to me when they get to my truck.
I get the title of GM and my own backlog makes me feel for them. Lots of long days on the phone with suppliers and customers. Scheduling process is a nightmare. That’s why I’m pretty laid back about the time this has taken. (Whiskey and bourbon help, too)

Can't remember when I updated fella's but truck made it to Chi town on 10/10. Found a chat from an F150 forum that said it can sit at the rail yard for days.......and that if you have a truck sitting there you should call your sales manager and tell them to call their ford rep and have them "hot ship" the truck. So I called the dealer today and he said he would call the rep and tell them to do this. (whether he did I don't know) But something to think about if you want to call Granger and see if the sales manager can rush the shipment. My dealer told me that he thought Chicago was ahead of the game because he had a truck show up yesterday that was scheduled for 10/15....but who knows lol.
Maybe yours will be delivered tomorrow. Mine is still making its way across Pennsylvania on a train.

Well... I cancelled my 2023 order and shifted my Granger deposit back to my 22. Hoping it gets there within a week or two, waiting for a truck to take it to them.

Would love the 5.0 and to supercharge it, but I guess I'll keep the stang and work on that instead.

Not gonna lie, I wouldn’t have minded seeing the supercharged tremor. But, if I recall, yours shipped, right?

Yep, it's just waiting at the railyard to get picked up to Granger, also been waiting 10-11 months for the truck and kinda expect that on the 23' as it's fully loaded (and who knows what options may be dropped between now and then).

That’s a long wait and honestly, I’d probably do the same.

Lets hope! As long as yours makes it safely that's all that counts, it's cool you can track it! I was very suprised the Ford chat knew when it got to Chicago to be honest!

Crickets up here in WI, emailed dealer yesterday to verify they hit up the Ford rep for hotlisting. My salesmen said they did "email" the rep, so we will see. Anyone else have any "good" news? I guess mine has only been there 4 days so I can't really complain....wait is painful though. Maybe its worse when it's literally 90min away from my house and I can't have it. lol

I'm still in Kansas City since Monday; missed the Tuesday convoy to Granger.

Guessing they're waiting for enough of a buffer to send another half dozen transport carriers up there.

Knowing mine is at Granger and that I can probably pick it up within two weeks is driving me up the wall. I keep on checking the Ford tracker hoping I get the check mark on final preparation. It also makes driving in the cramped rental extra annoying.

Damn their PDI thoroughness!!! /jk

How long for you all did you truck wait in-between being built no chip hold to being shipped out? Im sitting at 18 days, and per Ford chat till be another 3 days (eye roll on them and their timelines they've been telling all us)

Mine was on chip hold when I last checked about a month ago. Dealer told me Ford is expecting to be caught up in Q4, but told me that realistically, it could be Nov-Dec before it arrives.

My dealer said the times Ford has been giving have been way off. I've gotten used to the fact it will arrive when it arrives.
Absolutely. When I got my blend date from ford chat, my eta to dealer was 9/6. Then I sat on part hold until 9/25 and was awaiting shipping until 10/6. Now, it’s on a train in Delaware.

Mine was on chip hold and fully finished the same day as yours. I know so many of us have gone through the hurry the hell up and wait with our trucks, but what in the actual F is a fully built truck sitting around waiting to be ship for over 18 days, and if Ford chat is actually correct, the truck will have sat fully built for 2-3rds of a month.
