If someone is stuck in software purgatory disconnect the battery, put in on charger and then wait overnight. It takes all modules a few hours to cycle completely off with residual power. This will allow modules to power down and many times will break the loop that some get stuck in. I have done this twice when truck went 6+ months without an update, a week or two later software updates started back up. If this doesn’t work check battery soc, many updates require >80% to start and minimum resting voltsge of 12v. If both of those fail get on 14thgen forum and rent a mongoose, there is a tone of info and help on updating via Fdrs. Dealerships won’t help with updates and not worth the time in effort when you can spend $50 plus rent mongoose and do it in you garage. At one time I was 12 mtgs behind and got it caught up since that time. Hope some of this helps
