Aux Light Bracket

Been browsing this forum for over a year. This thread finally made me register. Sign me up for group buy ASAP. I’ve been spoiled by my cars in the past. MB, Porsche and teslas. The light output on these trucks leave much to be desired. Thanks for all your hard work. Can’t wait for this setup. I agree with spots or combos.

Good news and bad news! All dimensions get the pods centered and they look absolutely badass. The bracket needs slight revision to help with install and add strength. With 5 pods on it, it is not to my liking. It’s probably strong enough but I don’t want to sell an inferior product. Also, got the powder sample, it turned out great! I will keep adding names for those who are interested but I’m not going to be taking orders quite yet.

Instructions are complete for 5.0 trucks, I was not able to get my hands on a 14th gen eco. So I’m going to have to ask y'all for some pics, if your happy to take some pics for me please send a private message.

If you would like your name to be added to the list please pm me!

60% gloss or matte black powder?

Thanks,
Connor

*The bumper is not straight! Very short on time today!

For those wanting to run 5 pods, it is possible!

I ran out of time today to trim the ecoboost bezel, but from looking at the trim piece and all the push pins you can easily trim out the 2 center bars. Allowing you to cleanly run 5 pods!

From my research you would have to trim both sides of your intercooler shroud somewhere in the area of where I placed the red line. Please chime in with your input!

Next time I'm outside I can get some pics of what I did. It's awkwardly stiff plastic to trim so I'd recommend a plastic cutting blade or a hole saw.

Can you expand on what you are referring to as trim? Would it be shaving it down, or more likely cutting a hole/slot for the bracket to pass through??

Yes it would be a hole or slot. It just has to be able to fit a 1.5” by .25”, preferably slightly larger to give you room to easily slide the bracket in.

Here's some pics kind of hard to see but this pic is from inside the little black triangle piece in the front bumper. The bolt is the bumper bolt that is used this is how much extra I had to trim in order to get the bar in with the bumper still on the truck, in my case with 5 pods you cannot see this hole whatsoever once everything is together I actually had a hard time getting a pic of it.

Looking closely at those pics, that is not where I put the bracket. I put the bracket in between the frame horns and the inner metal bumper structure on the other side of that bolt. So you can install this bracket 2 ways!

Comparing to @captain lead foot, it looks like if you have an ecoboost you have to install it in front of the bumper inter structure behind the weird bolt retainer.

5.0 instructions are complete! Eco is close, I have attached both for reference. Any input from those of you with Eco’s is appreciated!

For those with a 5.0 the install is a breeze!

With the 5.0 and SS3’s do they sit flush with the opening and if not is it able to be shimmed and secure?
Thanks
They are almost exactly flush with the two plastic bars that run vertically on the trim piece. So ever so slightly tucked in. If you look at your truck you will see what I’m talking about!

Putting this out there because I’m trying to get final pricing nailed in while I’m testing the final bracket. These 100% will be less than $100, hoping for $80-$85ish. This is not set in stone though. The biggest swing on the price comes down to quantity. The more I can get cut the cheaper they are. The list keeps growing so the bigger it is the more I can get the cost down!

Thanks,
Connor
