Wow. Awesome job colour matching, that looks spot on!Color is pretty close. I'll post the DIY later, but all in all I'm happy with it. I plan to do more, this was the test run.

Audio is a commitment, from my research the most expensive thing I looked deeply into and I'm not willing to invest $5k+++++ Want to see how the Vertex turn out with upgraded control arms.I just put in the order with the shop for the RC 2.5 front, vertex rears, and the SPC control arms. Should be installed in a couple of weeks.
Skipped the bags for now because I don't have immediate towing needs and i can put that money elsewhere (audio, exhaust). I also already have an ARB, but the airlift works best with an airlift compressor and gauge so you can have them auto fill or work in increments. Still mulling this over, might just throw the RAS on and call it a day.
I'm not going that deep - adapter ($800), decent amp ($800-$1000), subs ($500-$800) plus install.Audio is a commitment, from my research the most expensive thing I looked deeply into and I'm not willing to invest $5k+++++ Want to see how the Vertex turn out with upgraded control arms.
That was my plan, originally had a $1300 quote with me supplying the amp but after they began the install they changed what needed to be done, then I got a second opinion from a highly regarded recommended guy that has all these awards and supposedly knows everything and he gave me a $7k option. I hope you figure it out for under $3k and I would be all for that.I'm not going that deep - adapter ($800), decent amp ($800-$1000), subs ($500-$800) plus install.
Wow, I feel lazy nowMy ambitious goals for the long weekend:
- install intercooler and BOV
- install front license plate relocation bracket
- install rear sway bar
- install cupholder, glovebox, and media light
- paint front and rear emblems (front black and orange, rear white and orange) and install
- paint side emblems (white and orange) and install
- paint remaining interior trims and install
- install foam tape on rear window to get rid of the damn rattle
Pending delivery:
- ordered a 2020 Ford performance Ecoboost engine cover, supposedly can be modified to fit a '21-'22, will try that and if it works going to paint it orange and white.
- if above works, going to paint some other items in the engine bay orange and white (such as intake cover)
Have you had the SPC control arms installed yet? If so does your truck have the dynamic bending headlights and does the SPC control arm have a mounting location for the sensor that operates them? The only brand I've found that mentions the dynamic bending headlights are the Icon control arms but they also state they will not work with on the 22 model yearI just put in the order with the shop for the RC 2.5 front, vertex rears, and the SPC control arms. Mine are installed. Didn't check that, and i don't remember seeing a sensor on the stock ones that came off. I haven't paid particular attention to that feature after the replacement but I feel like it works still. I'll double check it.Have you had the SPC control arms installed yet? Driver side has a bracket mounted to the control arm that holds the sensor which tracks your steering for the dynamic bending headlights. Maybe your truck wasn't equipped with that feature?Mine are installed. Didn't check that, and i don't remember seeing a sensor on the stock ones that came off. It definitely had it, i have seen it at night time and it's a fully optioned 402A. I'm wondering if they relocated the bracket, or if they didn't even know. I don't remember seeing anything on the stock UCAs before I tossed them, hopefully it wasn't still sitting on it. I'll look into it.Driver side has a bracket mounted to the control arm that holds the sensor which tracks your steering for the dynamic bending headlights. Yeah it looks like the spc uca incorporates a mounting location directly to itself. Where as the icon requires an additional part. This is a photo of the stock setup for reference. Is this it? It's only on the driver's side. The passenger side has a hole there but not this whole piece.
Looks like it has a wire and a sensor on it.
Great! Thanks for asking, I didn't even consider it. Glad the shop knows what they're doing and SPC makes the parts right.Yeah it looks like the spc uca incorporates a mounting location directly to itself. Where as the icon requires an additional part. @Cranbery would you please confirm the part number for these SPC upper control arms? Glad to hear they're working well for you!Great! Thanks for asking, I didn't even consider it. Glad the shop knows what they're doing and SPC makes the parts right.
