🏕️ F150 Tremor Camping Forum!

Has anyone done southeast Utah (Moab and surrounding areas) in winter? I’m looking at maybe exploring the area the week after Christmas with the family. We likely will NOT be camping (blasphemy for this thread) but wanting to get out and hike, run some trails, see some stuff (weather permitting).
Have yet to see this part of the state at all and looking for any intel or insight.
If you can get down south drive through the valley of the gods and spend a night at the goosenecks... Just don't tell anyone else!

Thanks all! The Moab area has been on my bucket list for years. Just wanted to make sure a late December trip would still be good. Sounds like it!
We have plenty of cold weather gear and the fam is used to spending time in these climates. Thanks for the intel!

Here’s my Solo set up for racing. A Gazelle T4 and a softopper, camp gets substantially larger when the whole clan joins me!

Anyone doing any winter camping in their Tremor? Mine is on hold still at ramp 59 and has been for two months, your pics are keeping me focused on the prize. lol

Well, not true CAMPING really, but here’s a shot from last week, somewhere above Rifle Falls north of Rifle, Colorado. Completely snow packed area. I agree with others that have been surprised at how decent the OEM tires are in the snow.

Awesome! We have a couple trips planned I’ll get some pics! If anyone is in San Diego or Southern California let me know!

Too clean were it not for the black tires and grill you would lose your truck 😁!

Awesome photo @High_Country - You should consider submitting it to the Tremor of the Month contest!

Per your encouragement, I'll do it! Thanks for the prod.

I might be headed down that way for some work stuff. I want to take mine if I have it by then to the black mountain truck trail in Idyllwild. I'd be down to do that

That's great news about the tires. I live near tahoe and it's snowing like a mother up there right now.

How do you like the Gazelle? Was thinking of picking one up but I also see a knockoff brand new OZtent on Craigslist that I have my eye on (someone was buying Ozents from factory and reselling them).

@steamboatdevil ,I Absolutely love it. In fact, it’s so nice that after the first night in it I ordered the T4plus for the kids on family camping trips. It literally sets up in 90 seconds and my first time taking it down I had it back in the bag zipped up in under 5 minutes. Canvas and zipper quality are great and I love being able to stand up in it! (Im 5’11”) I initially started looking at knockoffs as well but I really try to “Buy once, Cry once” in this case I was not disappointed!

Thanks !! Last question.. Does it fit length wise in the bed or do you have to put it in diagonal?

It fits lengthwise front to back 👍🏻
