F150 Tremor FORScan

I was able to find this for the heated steering wheel. Temps and timers but no auto.

If you ever come across the setting for the heated mirrors let me know. I looked and didn’t find it. Would love to run continuously for rainy days and snowy days. Get tired of turning on all the time when they shut off automatically.

Hey guys, first post here, but have lurked for a few days and used the excellent info in this thread to Forscan the following.

Glare Free
Unreal (has some bugs, can't drag CarPlay map)
Cameras on with speed (can't get it to work)
Temp Gauge digit readout
Bambi
Double Honk
Seatbelt chime removal

I'm expecting to do a few others. Thanks for all the great info.

I input all the changes for Camera at speed, but it still shuts off when getting moving. Also, is it possible to install a bed cam and it will simply start working? I'm seeing the soft button for the bed camera, but it's just blue when I click it. It couldn't be that easy, could it?

What camera are you trying to view at speed? The front view and top 360 view shut off above 5mph. The rear, hitch and bed cameras will work at speed with the Forscan change (if needed - later trucks come with that already enabled at the factory)

Alright, well in that case, it's working fine. I haven't had the truck long enough to tell the difference. Tail camera is working fine at speed, was hoping it would be all the cameras. No big deal. Now I need to work on a bedcam solution. Probably going to give the FullVue a try.

There are 2-3 cameras that can be enabled at speed (not including the optional trailer camera you would put on the rear of a camp trailer), depending on your options: rear view, hitch view, bed view.

Were you supposed to have the bed cam but it was deleted (sticker credit)? If so, there is someone on another forum very close to figuring out how to add that back (it looks like the wiring might be there, so it would just be buying the factory 3rd light with the camera, and then maybe some Forscan to enable it).

Yes, the bed cam was a removal/credit item. There was one on the lot that had it, but it was a black Tremor. I liked the AMB better, which otherwise had all of the same options. I used to enjoy these puzzles, but I'm just too busy with work and family at this stage of life. It would be outstanding if someone figured out the parts list and programming details. It would be nice to have, but not a deal breaker. BTW, thanks for the help, I'm loving that this truck has such a robust community and isn't just a facebook group somewhere (which I refuse to participate in).

Here is a link to that thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...moved-the-bed-camera.16801/page-2#post-341956

It looks promising for those wanting to add that feature back. I was lucky enough to have my truck built before they deleted this, but if not I would be following that thread closely. The camera resolution is awful, but it is a nice feature to have when hauling something.

I did add a number of things back like heated steering wheel, cup holders and others, so I find places like this and the previous hard work of others invaluable, especially in this day and age of having to fix Ford's shortcomings.

Did you end up having a heated steering wheel present? I'd like to do the same, but the cost of the wheel alone would probably make me hold off and wait a bit. Fortunately, the truck has a great remote start logic. My LandCruiser with remote start would turn off before it warmed up, and turn off when the door was opened. Really stupid...

I messaged the guy in the thread that says he has a camera. I intend on taking my 3rd brake light out this weekend to inspect for presence of harness. Hopefully it's that easy.

No. I purchased a Raptor wheel from a member on here (I like the paddle shifters and did that conversion on a previous F150), an HVAC with digital readouts, and the SCCM. Wiring was present so all that was needed was install the new part and make the Forscan changes. Took about 90 min. and cost was ~$1,200. I negotiated the price of the truck down by $1k due to missing the heated steering wheel with my dealer.

Interesting. I'd like the paddle shifters too, would be great in the mountains. Did you do a code orange steering wheel, and did you swap over the thumb buttons back to the OEM items? This might be the way to go. I've also heard that the heated steering wheel can be engaged via the touchscreen.

You have 2 options for a Raptor wheel: Code Orange stitching (code orange is really red to me), or black stitching. Both have the red stripe at the top of the wheel. I did the black stitching. You need to swap over the thumb buttons as the Raptor buttons are different. You can enable the heated steering wheel button thru the touch screen by enabling the Unreal theme, but I chose to do the hard button on the HVAC as that only cost about $120 and got me the digital temp dials. The SCCM is the hard part to track down right now. I overpaid for it rather than waiting for it to come back in stock from Ford, but I also got a wiring harness too in the package (which I didnt need).

Awesome, thanks. Any chance you have the part# for the correct SCCM? I just joined the waitlist at boostedgoosegarage for a black stitched wheel and will wait for their harness for the paddles.

Anybody move the bed camera to the rear of a bed cap? Would like ot knwo what was involved. After addign my cap the camera is totally useless...

What trim level is your Tremor? 402a probably wont need a wiring harness to enable the paddle shifters. And as much as I like Boosted Grey Goose (I bought my SCCM kit from him), if you are just needing a wiring harness for the paddle shifters to work, there are writeups on how to do so for less than $10 in parts, and its pretty easy. He made a kit for the Gen13 trucks which he sold for $125. I did it myself for $7 in pins and wire.

Between the lack of tow mirrors from the factory and what just about every commuter car is doing I cant believe we don't have a side camera at speed feature. One of these days I'll get more than 10min to actually fart with it instead of just whining about it on a forum

If you have a 23 you can enable turn signal cameras (reports are it won’t work on 21s and 22s). It is a standard feature on the 23 SuperDutys and I have enabled it on my F150. I have been trying to figure out a way to make it work without a trailer attached but haven’t gotten that working. The truck needs to see a trailer attached in order for it to work.

Both of my wife’s previous Kia’s had this feature (but they show the view in the dash rather than the center screen like Ford does) and it is a very nice feature to have.

Is Forscan the only way to enable actual temperatures in the gauges? Does anyone know if a dealer would do this?

Yes, the only way. A dealer won't do this for you.

Just bought my Tremor last friday. I want to get an obd/forscan. I am reading the tutorial but have some questions. Can I use an app on my iphone to reprogram or do I have to buy a cheap laptop? The last obd module I had I could use my iphone. Can I use a windows laptop?

Is this still the best one? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081VQVD3F/?tag=f150tremor-20
