Thanks guys so much for sharing this valuable information. I'm new to the forum. Just got my FIRST truck after 50+ years driving sedansI have made a few FORScan mods to date and have been testing additional mods for the Tremor specifically. I have enabled the digital gauges, bambi mode, auto start / stop disable and most recently enabling Glare Free / Adaptive driving lights.
I have completed the testing and confirmed error free operation for the glare free / adaptive adaptive beams. For those not aware the 402A (sorry everyone else) is equipped with adaptive driving beam capable head lights. Unfortunately they are disabled in the US trucks due to some outdated laws manufactures are limited by. Our friends in Canada and Europe get the more advanced system active by default, while we are stuck with auto high beams instead.
This is a slightly more complex FORScan mod due to multiple modules involved, but fairly simple once you are familiar with FORScan. Please backup you modules before making changes!
For those interesting in enabling this cool tech here are the as-built changes required (402A ONLY):
In the list below do not change the values in your as-built represented by "x"
Glare Free Menu (replaces Auto High beam) in APIM:

Note: a module reset in FORScan or power cycle is required for the menu to appear.

I have Tremor 402A package. Trying to do some mods using ForScan, but I get some errors. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
When you say for example:
706-01-01 xxxx xxx9
The format shows xxxx xxxx xxxx
so I should do xxxx xxx9 xxxx
that's what you mean?
Also, when I apply some changes, it gives me an error saying the checksum is wrong. I was not able to do most of the changes except disabling the horn when leaving the car
Am I doing something wrong? I'm using the latest ForScan software and this adaptor:
Try the beta version of the app. Scroll back several pages there should be a link.Everytime I try to write to the BdyCM Module, it gives me an error: Writing blocks failed - incompatible configuration
I have Temor 2023 with the 402A package. please help
Not that I have seenIs there any way to change the order of the drive modes? I’d like to have XXX/Sport/Normal/Eco/XXX.
Are you saying that the Raptor dash when in normal drive mode looks different? The ones I have seen look the same as ours when they are in the same drive modes. They do have an additional drive mode though of BajaKind of on this topic of changing the dash display. I know the Raptors have a little sportier looking display. Do all trucks have this and it could be turned on or off via forscan or is it a software upgrade they download per build.
Oh well. Thanks for the reply. Not that I have seen
In general their display has a slightly different look. I noticed when I was riding in my friends. It looks like this in any of their drive modes. Are you saying that the Raptor dash when in normal drive mode looks different? That pic shows Baja mode, which we dont have. I have not seen a difference in the display when in the same drive modes we have, but maybe I have not paid enough attentionIn general their display has a slightly different look. I know the google pic I posted says baja but i've driven in my friends in normal mode and it has that same gauge look. In theory then you could figure out which lines correspond to the dash display and change it via ForscanI know the google pic I posted says baja but i've driven in my friends in normal mode and it has that same gauge look. Has a little more character than stock.
Personally never had an issue, and I’ve never reverted things back before a serviceDue for another service on Tuesday, has anyone actually had the dealer mention anything when using Forscan?
I reverted everything back to factory for the last service, but I've added some things since then and I'm feeling lazy. I have digital Temps, Bambi Mode, double honk delete and glare free headlights.
My last four vehicles I have never reverted back to stock. My first service on the Tremor I had already done all the changes. My dealership has never said anything or changed anything. I even had them recalibrate the cameras and sensors and nothing changed. I was worried I may loose my speedo changes, but nothing. I have always been told to take a tune out, but not ForScan.Due for another service on Tuesday, has anyone actually had the dealer mention anything when using Forscan?
