GMC AT4X vs Tremor? Trade In?!

So I received an email from GMC today that the Sierra AT4X that I reserved Oct 2021 is going into production and I should take delivery in 8-12 weeks

I bought my loaded Tremor a couple months ago and I’m loving it, but there are def some pros/cons to consider between the two trucks and wanted to get the Tremor forums thoughts on keeping it vs trading in?

AT4X: Pros vs Tremor
- 6.2L V8 14/18 MPG
- better suspension DSSV Multimatic shocks
- Front and Rear Lockers
- heads up display and 13.4” screen
- full grain leather seats with 16 way massage
- 420 HP vs 400 HP

AT4X: Cons vs Tremor
- 32” Tires
- single sunroof vs dual pane
- 460 lbs torque vs 500 lbs
- voice over tech better in Ford than my 2020 AT4
- 9000 lb vs 10,900 towing, though I don’t tow anything nearly that heavy. GMC lower due to suspension more for off-road.

I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting, but these are a few main ones to consider. As for overall exterior and interior looks, my personal opinion leans towards the AT4X as I have owned more GM in the past, though I do think my Tremor is pretty bad ass looking. Especially on 35s!

Love to hear yalls thoughts as I will need to decide when it gets here. Thanks!

GMC AT4X 6.2 fuel estimate is actually 14/17 not 18 and if you think you will get that good luck.

Yeah I actually had to move my dad's AT4 (that he's had a few years now) for him last week and his mpg was 12.9! Granted, he mostly does rural driving, but yeah just passing that along.

So I have a 2019 AT4 with the 6.2L V8, CAI, and Borla Cat Back. I get 17.4 mpg average, I used to get a little over 18 until I went from the 32 inch duratrac tires to 33 inch nittos. Only issue is you have to use 91+ octane gas in the 6.2L. I was going to go AT4X but that 10K uplift over the Tremor was a little more than I was willing to spend. I looked at the ZR2 as an alternative but the interior I feel is quite a downgrade from the AT4 or AT4x. For me the Tremor was more of a do it all truck with good payload and towing. The AT4x/ZR2 is focused on off road so if that is what you do most it's probably the better truck. If you want something that has a higher tow rating and payload capacity and still pretty good off road then go Tremor. Other bonus is AT4x will still have heated steering wheel and a bed camera as GM doesn't seem to have the same supply constraints as Ford.

How is the AT4 entertainment screen. In the videos it looks long but very narrow.
They measure Diagonal for screen size. Fords screen is much more user friendly!
